Harvey's — Restaurant in Oshawa

Worst burger ever today at 5:45 PM . Asked for everything but relish. No spillage on wrapper and didn't need a napkin. Burger was sitting for awhile as it was cold and dried out. Thought I would give it another chance after getting a thrown together burger in February. Never again. From best to worst!

Here is the answer I got. I would like to apologize for the visit you had at our king street & townline road location. We have talked to our staff about insuring our food is served hot to the guests. If you prefer extra toppings on your burger simply let the drivethru order taker or garnisher know. We would like for you to come back and receive 1 FREE COMBO on us. I have always gotten 2 tomatoes and 2 pickles and lots of onions which over flow on to the wrapper. I have ordered over a100 burgers from the north store and never had a problem. Continual top notch service. I should have reviewed this 3 years ago when I walked in on a Saturday night and ordered food for myself and two other people. At that time, all the employees were all white teenagers - not being racist by any means. But the service was fast, professional, and accurate with no Tom foolary or excessive banter from the staff. The restaurant was incredibly clean. These kids were freaking amazing and fast. The last time I went in, the employees were all south Asians - again, not being racist. I had the exact same service as I did the first time I walked in that place. This just goes to show that whoever is training the employees is doing an awesome job. Harvey's has always been a different kind of burger joint that should be ranked far greater than other burger joints. Once and awhile I will treat myself to some Harvey's. Dont mind this location, always good fries and burgers. But when it comes to their chicken, thats why Im giving it a poor review. I have grabbed chicken 3 times from this location. First was their Jr. Crispy Chicken sandwiches. Took one bite out of one and almost puked. The chicken was still raw, the second time I grabbed their buffalo poutine. And let me tell you, when you have chicken in those warmers for too long it either turns too hard to eat, or just leaves a bad taste in your mouth. And the third time being today. I grabbed another Buffalo Chicken poutine and I am beginning to become equainted with the taste of raw chicken.

After working in the fast food business I know how long chicken should be cooked. And nobody should ever come to know the taste of raw poultry. I lost my appetite so I guess dinner is a no go...
