Hello everyone I had an extremely disappointing experience at [Pizza Pizza store at 300 taunton rd east in oshawa. when ordering through the Too Good To Go app. The purpose of this app is to reduce food waste by providing surplus food at a discounted price to paying customers. However, when I arrived to pick up my order, the staff claimed that they can provide 1 slice of pizza —even though my order has taken by staff to home and I paid for the food.

It became clear that some employees (Punjab people) were keeping the food for themselves, rather than fulfilling customer orders. This is completely unacceptable, as people using this service—whether for financial reasons or to help reduce food waste—should receive what they paid for.

I hope the management takes action to ensure fairness and accountability, as this kind of behavior damages trust and discourages customers from supporting an otherwise great initiative.

I wanted to share my honest feedback after ordering from Pizza Pizza recently. It was my wife’s birthday, and we decided to order two pizzas for the family. I usually go with Domino’s or Red Swan, but this time I wanted to support Canadian businesses, sadly, that turned out to be a mistake.

The pizza we received was honestly the worst I’ve ever tasted. One of the pizzas had chicken and olives as toppings. I don’t know if olives are free for you, but it felt like the whole jar was dumped on the pizza — it was completely overwhelming, and worse, the olives themselves tasted terrible. As for the chicken, it seemed like frozen chunks were thrown on top without being cooked properly. It was tough and dry.

I also paid extra for garlic base sauce, but that too was a disaster, bland and didn’t blend with the rest of the pizza at all.

We’ve tried Pizza Pizza before and didn’t feel this strongly, but after this experience, we’re done. Maybe this particular store is just exceptionally bad, I can’t say for sure. But I can confidently say we will never be ordering from Pizza Pizza again.

I have been ordering from this location for years, never had an issue. Today I order the extra large special for delivery, and will be my last time supporting this location and franchise. The pizza ordered was thin crust, regular sauce and the 4 toppings. The first pizza I received was a pre-made crust with no sauce, skimpy toppings. Called in and filed a complaint, described the issues and was promised "it will never happen again sir"... 45 min later the replacement pizza arrives, the exact same disgusting cardboard crust with no sauce, but they were nice enough to add 2-3 extra slices of pepperoni. I will be going in person to return these pizzas, don't really care for a replacement after $35 wasted. People are starving and I'm not going to throw away this food, I'll leave that responsibility to the wonderful managers at this location to do and to sleep with.
