I specifically asked for my bagel NOT to be cut.. why? Because when its cut, the bacon on the bagel ALL FALLS OUT OF IT. Why is it when you ask for your bagel not to be cut..and it comes up on the drive thru screen saying "do not cut bagel" you end up with it cut anyways? How hard is it to actually fill a customer's order without screwing it up?? It's not rocket science. This particular Tim Horton's location has the WORST service. I may get 1 order out of 10 that is actually right when I visit. I don't know if it's the management or the workers, but they give Tim Horton's franchise the worst name. If you can avoid it and find another location in Oshawa, DO IT!!! 9/17/2017 Went by this location again simply because its close to home. Ordered a Fruit explosion muffin along with an Iced Cap and breakfast sandwich (the girl at the window even called for a fruit explosion muffin for my order - quite obvious she didnt check the muffin before putting it in the bag and the person getting it for her didnt as well. You have 2 DIFFERENT people processing the order and NEITHER of them had the common sense to even CHECK if the muffin was the right one)..got a blueberry one. Called to talk to the manager (Vera) Who proceeded to talk OVER me and ended up yelling at ME and hanging up. One of the most IGNORANT AND RUDE people I've ever dealt with in my life.
I was stupid and went back to this location on Nov. 19, 2017.. How do you end up giving something that looks like this to a customer? Its pretty obvious the bun is burnt and totally inedible. The staff at this location are inept and either poorly trained or lazy and dont care bout what they give to customers. This location in Oshawa is one of the worst in the city.. if you can avoid it.. do do.. Either your order is totally wrong, or what you ask for looks like it was made to feed a dog for breakfast. And honestly..I wouldnt even feed a dog what I get...
Read moreFrom the moment I walked into this Tim Hortons location, I could tell it was run with care, pride, and genuine dedication to customer service. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming — clean tables, spotless floors, and that familiar, comforting aroma of fresh coffee and baked goods that only Tim Hortons can deliver.
But what truly made this visit exceptional was the manager, Breanna. She is, without a doubt, the heart of this location. I’ve seen her working both behind the counter and on the floor, checking in with customers, supporting her team, and always doing it with a smile. It's rare to see someone in management who leads so hands-on and with such sincerity.
Breanna has cultivated a team that works like a well-oiled machine — orders are accurate, quick, and fresh. Even during a busy morning rush, everything ran smoothly, and you could see the positive morale in the staff. That kind of environment doesn’t happen by accident. It’s clear she treats her employees with respect and leads by example.
What stood out most was her attention to detail and how she goes out of her way to make every customer feel important. I saw her personally assist an elderly customer with mobility issues, making sure they were seated comfortably and had everything they needed without even being asked. That kind of kindness sticks with you.
My coffee was perfect, my breakfast sandwich was hot and delicious, and the Boston Cream donut — absolutely divine! Everything tasted fresh and made with care, which seems to be the standard here under Breanna’s leadership.
This is now my go-to Tim Hortons, not just because of the food and coffee, but because of how valued and comfortable I feel every time I walk in. If every Tim Hortons had a Breanna, the world would be a better (and better-caffeinated) place!
Thank you, Breanna, for setting the bar so high. You're doing an amazing job...
Read moreI just left this branch about 10 minutes ago. I ordered a flatbread pizza. Then I requested a small French vanilla to be put in a medium cup then filled up with hot water. The cashier said I had to pay for a medium. Now this is something I do all the time with the many Tim Hortons I visit. It is never been an issue except for this specific branch. I asked to speak with someone slse who also said the same thing. So I walked out.
This was a particularly upsetting experience for me for two reasons First I had this same experience with this same branch a few years ago during g the teacher strike. I escalated it with the manager and she apologized and cautioned the staff involved. She also told me that my feedback will be treated as a training opportunity. Obviously it’s not because it’s still happened.
Secondly of all the many Tim Hortons I visit regularly it is never an issue except for this one. I took my business to another branch close by and I was served small FV in a medium cup filled with hot water as per my usual request.
I can afford to buy a medium FV if I wanted to but I usually prefer it diluted because it’s too sweet for me. But to ask me to pay for a medium when I actually bought a small is unfair and unacceptable.
One thing is for sure, I will never visit that branch again. Twice bitten...
