Went here Friday the 27th of December 2024 at approx 8:30 PM
First time we have ever been here or to this brand. We had not had a GREAT feed of wings in a dogs age and felt the need to seek some and found this restauranton google maps. Well, we can say this place is excellent!
It's a unique newer wing chain that getting a solid foothold in the wing market with a heavy emphasize on their own in-house plump and juicy fresh never frozen chicken wings with a ton of flavor options. We can say we left VERY happy. 10 out of 10 stars. We highly recommend you try it for DINE IN!
In our opinion, wings are something that should be eaten FRESH, and we don't mean Uber eats fresh, we mean hot right outta the kitchen in the restaurant kind of fresh, at least for the best flavor and texture experience which is really what makes the best wings standout above and beyind the sea of mediocre wings that can be had in many places.
The restaurant layout and experience is actually rather unique in that it's more of a small corner fast food chicken type arrangement with a smaller tidy eat in sports bar feel, but with no alchol it's definitely family friendly in all ways. The facility is on the smaller side but is plenty functional for dine in lunch and informal dine in dinners or late night snack runs while you loosely catch game as it has various seating options inside. We shoukd mention the business hours are great for late night wing snacking
The wings were big and plump, juicy and fresh and hot. We particularly loved how they come served on baking sheets in a very clean and tidy order with the wings and drums arranged in rows without sauce and rub slathered on everything. Infact the arrangement they are served in is literally a first for us and we welcome it. The wings were lightly dusted perfectly coated with rub and or sauce, not too little and not too much, just right, and as such they weren't too salty or too sweet or too bland with very well balanced flavor profiles. But again the way they are served was very refreshing. Look at the photos for examples.
Portion size was excellent. We went in with a huge hunger on, piggishly gorged on allllot of wings and were stuffed and even had lots of left overs. There are menu options for the smallest or biggest eaters!
Flavors! Tons of flavor choices! You won't get bored with the flavor choices! Lots of dry rubs and wet sauces and combos of them.
Staff and the Manager were very friendly and very accommodating to us being first time customers. It was a quiet evening due to Christmas time and we were still greeted with a smile and welcoming atmosphere. The manager asked if it was our first time which it was and suggested we try the Dine in option for the best quality and then went on to explain the ordering process and flavors. He never once rushed us and was even gracious enough to allow us to sample a few more flavors then standard as well as the fries while we waited. The food came fast! Very fast! And the presentation was so easy to work with which means no mess for the family.
Food presentation- 10/10 Very Tidy Layout! Serving speed- 10/10 They Are Fast! Food Quality- 10/10 Fresh! Hot! Juicy! Food Portion- 10/10 Huge Portion! Staff- 10/10 Polite, Helpful, Friendly! Facilities- 10/10 Clean! TV! Comfy Booths! Parking and Access- 10/10 Easy In/Out!
Overall it was a 10 out of 10 experience. A huge shout out to the Mananger that evening, keep on doing what your doing as its very refreshing to meet a restauranteer who is as enthusiastic and genuine as you are. Great job. You'll do great with that positive attitude.
We forgot to take a picture of the menu unfortunately. But we did take photos of the fries and wings and the unique arrangement fashion in which they're served.
Give it a go! We bet you'll be...
Read moreDecided to try this “hole in the wall” (not a reference to the quality of this place, but rather the unfortunate location on a one way street and at the end of a plaza) wing place. My, oh my was it a solid decision and I am going to tell you why.
These are my top 4 reasons why you should give this place a try (you won’t regret it):
Options: As the name suggests, they have 60 flavours. Not the most flavour options of the wing restaurants, but 60 is still a lot. Flavours range from dry to level 4 spice. The best part, they have many unique flavours that I have not seen in other places, such as Taj Mahal and Creamy Cajun.
Food Quality: Wings are always fresh, never frozen and you can taste it from the first bite. Tender and moist chicken inside, lightly dusted and crispy outside. Unlike other restaurants where they freeze their wings then thaw for the day they are ready to be cooked and the sometime meat can become gritty, off putting texture, dry (especially towards the end of the meal and food fatigue sets in), is not found here. Wings are dynamite! The flavours are full of, ummm, uhhh, flavour (lol). Wings come loaded with sauce, the way wings should be (or you can ask them for light sauce cause the management are awesome - more to come later). Wings are also decent size. Fries are golden, cripsy, and fluffy. Their loaded fries were extremely tasty. Also, if you’re a spice fan, they have wings that will challenge you. I have a high spice tolerance and I found the spicy ones to make my brow sweat with joy. To add, only 1 of the flavours I did not like (dry Cajun)
Presentation and Ambiance: Uber modern logo and decor. Inside has some challenges with the setup but for the location they put this place together very well. There is a dine in option with comfy booths with lots of space, as well as some tables and chairs at the front. A single TV at the front was fair size, clear picture. Menu is easy to read and doesn’t overwhelm you to go through. There is a large overhead digital menu as well as placards at the ordering desk. High quality decor, feels like a higher end sports and wing place than what the retail location is. Music plays in the background and isn’t too loud. Food presentation was not what I was expecting. The wings were brought out on metal tray, lined with black wax paper (industry standard), but what caught my attention was how the wings were presented. On the trays, the wings were laid out neatly in rows of 4 x 4, alternating between a row of drums, then a row of flats! You feel the effort and passion the staff have in giving you a quality product.
And finally…
Service. Probably top 3 customer service experiences I’ve ever had in any restaurant, ever! The general manager (Satheesan - hope I spelled that correctly) was incredibly nice. He took care and management of the food coming to me and made sure it was flawless. He also gave me a free sample their loaded fries and separate sample tray with 4 additional wing flavours. For FREE!! He wanted me to try their food and all he asked was that I tell him my honest opinion on them. He and the staff were polite, personable, and willing to provide items (napkins, to go containers for example) timely and without complaining.
Items I Tried: Wings (Taj Mahal, Hot, Devils Ranch, Garlic Parmesan, Dry Cajun, Creamy Cajun, and a 6th one I can’t remember) Loaded Fries.
I highly recommend this place if you like wings!! I promise you that you...
Read moreI recently had the chance to try a restaurant that’s quickly become one of my favorites, and I can’t wait to go back. They’ve got hilarious wings with a ton of flavor options, and we tried the Lemon Pepper and Sweet Heat flavors. The Lemon Pepper wings were amazing — crispy, flavorful, and just the right amount of zing. The Sweet Heat was also great and came with a side of ranch sauce that complemented the spice perfectly.
We went for the Combo for 2, which came with 20 wings and a side of loaded fries. These fries were seriously delicious — they were packed with flavor, full of spices, and topped with fresh onions and cilantro. So tasty! We also tried the fully loaded Burger, which also came with fries. Honestly, those fries might just be the best I’ve had in Ottawa — so good!
We really enjoyed everything, and I’m definitely coming back for more. If you're craving comfort food, this place is a must-try.
The only downside to our experience was the seating arrangement. Since the restaurant has only about 6 tables, everyone has to wait for a table to free up, which can be a bit inconvenient, especially during busy times.
P.S: also wanted to mention the awesome manager, Sadison (or possibly Sadisa, I can’t quite remember), who really made the experience special. He was super friendly, knew the menu inside and out, and helped us pick the perfect dishes. He was so patient with us and even served our table, which made everything feel a bit more personal. Thanks again, Sadisa! You made our visit even better, and we’ll...
