Had a few issues with my order and they handled it promptly going out of their way to fix it. Jollof rice and bbq chicken is pretty good! Plantains were soooo delicious! Fries and salad could be improved, didn't eat much of those but the rest was satisfactory. My first time trying it after my mom highly recommended it. Only thing I wish they had was individual phone lines for each location rather than one main line that takes orders for each location so that we could reach the store if needed like we had to today. Satisfied overall. Thank you!

I Had a craving for jolif rice but wasn't close to my usual spot (le african bbq) I took ONE bite & this wasn't it. I had to ask for a refund. Tasted like uncle Ben's rice. No flavor what so ever, no spices I feel bad asking for my $ back cause I hate wasting food but this was something I couldn't eat. At first the server didn't want to refund me back, if that was the case I would of just given the food away to someone who was hungry. I came here cause I saw good reviews but was extremely dissatisfied. Don't judge a book by its cover

I ordered a chicken skewer platter with an extra skewer and spent more than 40$ to receive food spilled in a plastic bag and packaged for a dog, uncooked chicken, and rice that was at least 3 days old and harder than a rock. Top 2 most disgusting experiences from an Ottawa restaurant in 20+ years. Stay away unless you want to waste your money and eat trash.
