🌟 First time, but definitely not the last! My husband and I decided to try this spot for the first time—and wow, we were pleasantly surprised! From the moment we walked in, the place was spotless and welcoming. The cashier greeted us with a warm smile, which already set the tone for a great meal. We ordered the Sukiyaki beef bento and bubble tea. Service was super prompt, and shoutout to Ria—she was so friendly and even gave us some great recommendations. Also, big props to Ardie (hope I got the spelling right!)—the cook who not only made our delicious meal but came out to check if everything was good. That kind of care is rare! The food? Delicious. The Sukiyaki beef had just the right amount of sauce—not too salty, not drowning the rice. The spring rolls were the perfect size, crispy and satisfying. And the bubble tea? Total steal for the price. Tasty and refreshing! One thing that really stood out: the washroom was clean. Like, actually clean—not the usual mess you find in smaller food chains. That attention to detail says a lot. You can tell the team here has built a solid base of regulars—the way customers interact with the crew feels like a little community. Love that vibe. Keep it up, guys! We’ll definitely be...
Read moreI have had their food many times but over the last year, on three occasions there was sandy texture in their food. Imagine little bits of sand sprinkled on your food. The first time I figured maybe it was the Asian veggie mix. The 2nd time, I went back to the place and let them know about it because I love teriyaki, they were nice about it but they had no clue. I took a long break from this place. When I ordered once recently from the College square location, it was perfect. Tonight I was hungry, my family and I came home from a road trip. We picked up some Edo Japan food from 3181 Greenbank. It was sandy. I don’t know how else to describe it. Maybe it’s hardened bits of old teriyaki sauce, maybes it dirt, maybe it’s sand. If you experience this, please let them know so they can...
Read moreThis place is designed more towards a take out place. However, there are few tables that you can sit and eat your food. So all the food was packaged like a take out food (in plastic box). Food was surprisingly very good and the price is considerably very affordable. Food was ready within couple minutes after we ordered and it came hot. Just like any other take out place, you can just throw your own food packaging after you eat. I ordered sukiyaki beef Bento box with shrimp tempura and California rolls as the side dishes. Unfortunately, the shrimp tempura was small. The California roll was okay. I am very satisfied with the taste of the sukiyaki beef. The meat and rice ratio was great. I'll try their noodle dishes the next time I go there. And I'll definitely go there again...
