Subway — Restaurant in Ottawa

Update so my husband and I have returned to this location and this time it wasn’t our usual two guys that work the night time and they’re usually really good at this location. One particular gentleman was working that night and didn’t look like he really wanted to serve everybody. There was a green piece of salami in the container that was bad and we told him about it instead of removing the whole container. He just took the piece of salami out and continued using the same gloves instead of removing the whole container and just replacing it, he didn’t change his gloves between orders, as well as between touching certain condiments. All the condiments were all touching each other. And left out way too long our order was Friday night May 17 around 3or4 AM we usually really like this location. One is convenient two their staff is usually pretty good My husband and I are very upset because this is usually our go to Subway because they’re usually make the best subs this guy either really doesn’t like his job or he just doesn’t care It was just this one particular staff member and it was probably the same staff member that didn’t answer the door when we went there the last time I got severely sick and I ended up vomiting blood, and I’ve been sick all week and missed the whole weekend of work not very happy This is the first time that we ever got service from this location like this, the cookies were hard the bread was stale and hard not too impressed and again it’s just that one staff usually, they’re very good and I’m not gonna hold the store accountable just because they have one staff member that doesn’t like his job just not very happy Went with my husband tonight to go and pick up a couple of subs sat outside in the pouring rain and it was only about 1257 and there was no answer at the door push the doorbell still no answer Did everything I said on the door to do and nobody came It says on mine are open 24 hours so we made the stop Obviously, not because nobody was there very...

Disappointed: I asked for a steak sandwich on the round bread and the girl tells me that all the bread is the same shape. I pointed at the picture and said the wrap and she said "the tortilla bread" . I asked her if that is round or the same shape as the rest? Anyway she is very abrasive and not overly polite. She went to the back to get bread since there was none in the front. If you are having a bad day have someone else serve while you prepare in the back. She asked if I wanted 2 scoops of meat and I said 1 is fine. She was not very generous with the 1 scoop, as minimal as possible. We then put the veggies on and I will give her that, she was generous there. She asked if I wanted it heated and I said no. I asked for the m&m chocolate chip cookies. I left and I noticed when I started to eat the bread tasted like it was just dethawed (maybe you should have recommended heating it since it was ice cold) I then go to eat the cookies and I found they where the wrong ones. I returned to get them replaced and I got the other girl this time. She basically grabbed the cookies out of the cabinet and tossed them in a bag and at me on the counter. Scariest Subway I’ve ever been to. I parked in the parking lot behind, near the dumpster around 10pm. A white SUV pulls up next to me and throws on the ground a small garbage bag with red (blood???) oozing from the bag, and he drove off while burning his tires. I was too scared to check the trash bag. I go to the door, it’s locked: THEY BUZZED ME IN. I ask the sandwich artist if I can go wash my hands before I order, one of the bathrooms is locked and the other has no hand paper? I had to ask the employee for napkins to dry my hands? The place was filthy: lettuce everywhere, straw wrappers all over the floor, tables were gross and sticky. The employee was all alone and it was very quiet (I was the only customer in 20 mins of being there) so I don’t understand why a quick clean-up of the place was not possible? Had to call my boyfriend and asked him to stay on the phone with me because I didn’t feel safe walking 20 meters to my...
