Used to come here OFTEN about 5-6 years ago. Recently got 2 shrimp pad thai and a beef pad thai. The shrimp pad thai had 4 shrimp in the entire dish. We laughed about it, thinking it was a mistake, but then we checked the other, and nope! With 4 shrimp and very minimal vegetables, we paid about 20$ each padthai for mostly a plate of noodles (albeit decently noodles). Beef pad thai was in a very similar state.
Really should think about distribution. It may sound like a minor gripe, but it's made a recurring customer not continue with your business. I loved your food, reminded me of my time in thailand.
Hope this helps. In this restaurants current state, i can't recommend it. A few years ago?...

I ended up waiting a total of 50 min after paying. I was not offered an explanation but suspect that my order was forgotten from the bit and pieces that I overheard.
The food was excellent, spice was on point and the taste was authentic based from eating often at my Thai...
Read morei loved this hole-in-a-wall. it reminds me of the best thai restaurants in queens, ny. my companion and i decided to eat it, tho' it's not designed for that, but there are a few tables and chairs -- most of the customers have food delivered or do take out. sue, our host, was busy preparing a huge batch of food for the thai embassy when we got there. i figured that was a good sign. she's the only chef, so we had to wait a little bit, but it was worth it. the food was very fresh and full of flavour. i like my thai food spicy, and it was a little on the mild side, catering to ottawa tastes, sue told me, but the next time i come, she promised, she'll fire it up....
