Prepare to have your senses taken on an unforgettable journey! The moment I crossed the threshold of this hidden gem in Ottawa, my world was transformed into a magical wonderland of tantalizing tastes and heartwarming hospitality.
Stepping into the Orange Turtle bakery, I was greeted by the divine aroma of freshly ground espresso beans, beckoning me to experience their renowned cappuccino. Oh, what an ethereal elixir it was! With each sip, the world seemed to slow down as the velvety coffee danced upon my palate, a melody of flavors that awakened my senses with every pull.
And then came the scones, oh, those scones! The cheddar chive scone was a revelation of taste and texture. The sharp tang of cheddar blended harmoniously with the subtle notes of fresh chives, resulting in an explosion of savory delight that left me utterly spellbound. The scone itself was a divine creation, with a crumb so delicate and buttery it could rival the most exquisite pastries in the world.
But the magic didn't stop there! The blueberry almond scone, an edible masterpiece, boasted plump, juicy blueberries like precious gems embedded within its tender embrace. As I took the first bite, the world around me blurred into the background, and all that remained was the delicate symphony of sweet blueberry bliss, delightful almond notes, and a graceful crunch of sugar coating to boot.
Yet, amidst all these culinary enchantments, the real star of the show was the local owner and baker. His warmth and attentiveness was wrapped me in a blanket of genuine care and made me feel like royalty in his gastronomic kingdom. Every recommendation was spot-on, and he seemed to anticipate my every need, adding an extra layer of enchantment to the entire experience.
In the midst of this ambiance, I felt like I had stepped into a tale from a storybook, where every flavor, every sip, and every smile was meticulously crafted to weave a magical narrative that captured my heart. The Orange Turtle is a treasure trove of delights, a haven for the discerning palate seeking extraordinary experiences.

I also went for a yummy pistachio and orange blossom shortbread cookie that was also very good. Finally, I picked up some scones to take home, and the owner recommended I warm them in the oven, which I did. They were awesome even days later. I can't wait to come back on my next...
