Chungchun Rice Dog Ottawa — Restaurant in Ottawa

I ordered the cheddar cheese pogo with ramen topping. My husband had been there before for the mozzarella beef pogo and I reasonably assumed that if the mozzarella was real then the cheddar was going to be real- I was wrong. I bit into melted artificial cheese that tasted closer to plastic than anything dairy related. They did first come first serve which makes some sense except when other ppl were waiting on fries which we didn't get and still had to wait behind. You don't get the choice of hotdogs- mine was half chicken (basically a hotdog not a pogo dog) and was not what I expected. The atmosphere was chaotic and not well situated to the front doors so we were confused when we walked in and a bunch of ppl were waiting for their food we thought still...

I went on one of their first days open and had a lovely experience. The staff was so kind despite clearly being overwhelmed by the amount of orders. The manager/owner (not sure) offered the customers who had been waiting a long time free beverages as an apology. The food, despite taking a while (which was totally fine since it was a busy day), was delicious as always!

I wanted to commend the staff there for performing the best that they could!

The food is good!

Butt...I was waiting for my food and the lady working was wearing the gloves she touches the food with everywhere and touching her phone. She was even blowing her nose and sticking the paper up her nose and picking it. She still didn't change her gloves. Before she touched my food I kindly asked her to change them. She replied yes but I am just touching the stick... which I will be touching and eating off of. God knows what else she is touching and then not changing her gloves....
