Farm Boy — Restaurant in Ottawa

I was a faithful customer until recently. This review is not regarding a specific Farm Boy location but it's a general one about Farm Boy stores. I used to purchase, on a very regular basis, one of their prepared meals for my disabled brother. He loves the pork schnitzel which comes with broccoli and a bit of pasta. The schnitzel meal used to include two servings which means it had four pieces of schnitzel. Now they only have three pieces of schnitzel and the pieces are tiny! The meal is now loaded up with broccoli and cheap pasta. The price is the same. I can no longer purchase this meal because the it's barely enough for one serving. It was a good option to purchase for when I was not able to prepare my brother's meals. It's also very low in sodium which is important for some people. In order to now get two servings from the meal, I need to purchase two at double the cost. I am so disappointed in Farm Boy to be so chintzy. I would absolutely still purchase the schnitzel meal if it went back to the way it used to be, four pieces but they charge a higher price for it. If Farm Boy would prepare it with four decent size pieces and charged me $20, I would 100% buy it. Come on Farm Boy, you can do better. first love farm boy, second will not go to this one , i entered with my wife and we are middle aged was follow by a man , actually made us feel like maybe our wallets are out , anyway i witness this can pick up one mushroom from the ground and put in back with the mushrooms on the self , then again play with the carrots , i said to my self does he work here , is he stealing , what does he do , i can clearly see he is alone and that its a small store . anyway my wife asked the guys in the meat department who is that guy ,, they replied he is security , well , let me tell you we have not stopped talking about the security under cover dude , i say this to farm boy , there must be at least 15 employees , i know there was six in produce and three in meat and some other dude filling the lunch stuff , can your own staff not look out for the best interest of the store , that security dude is bad news ....
