Gabriel Pizza — Restaurant in Ottawa

I just had unbelievably, the greatest customer service experience at this restaurant. I brought in a receipt that was quite old of a pizza that I purchased some time ago and it had.... to no fault of the establishment, some very small issues with it. An employee at the establishment wrote "Free Pizza" on the top of my receipt a long time ago and I am not in the area very often so I decided to pop in. I was certain that the story I had, had very little credibility and my proof was almost zero, but the gentleman at the counter and his young co-worker were so incredibly professional and kind that they decided to trust a long time, faithful customer and happily made me a pizza. In the world that we live in now, this seems to be something that rarely happens. I am so impressed with what happened and I encourage everyone to patronize this establishment. Thank you so much Gabriel Pizza on Innes Road in Orleans, for giving me and my family so many years of the the best pizza I have ever had. I have not been comfortable going anywhere with a passport system unless I absolutely have to, because I know there are people who have been injured by it (or are susceptible to that) who chose not to get the first or second shot and are being punished and ostracized from every facet of society.

I can attest that as a disabled person, being constantly asked or forced to disclose these details, especially before I had gotten the vaccine, is horrible. It makes me feel unwelcome, like I don't belong, and like I'm not valued as a Canadian.

So to this location of Gabriel's; THANK YOU for switching to take out only so you will not risk discriminating against others like me. I truly hope other locations follow suit, especially given the recent incident at your Bank Street franchise.

Ordered club platter, donair platter with chef salad. Garlic sauce and Greek dressing on the side. Order shows up no salad and neither garlic for the donate and no side dressing. Call talk to supervisor. The send driver "right away" 15 min later the salad shows up with the garlic sauce and no Greek dressing. Call supervisor again. Says he will call the location and see what's going on. Says driver forgot it in the car and he will turn around and get the dressing. I ask for a credit. Now at a restaurant, if they screw up a meal twice . You get it for free. Supervisor says there will be a 5$ credit on my account. I just hang up because I don't think I should say what I want to say. Then 10 min later the dressing shows up. The really frustrating part is I called and made the order on my way home. The Gabriel location is a 6 min walk from my front door. Pretty sad conflict resolution ...
