I picked up lunch here yesterday for me and my girlfriend and was very disappointed. We hadn't had Thai Express for over a year or two but both have eaten it on multiple occasions in the past and used to like it. The food was extremely bland, like pad thai with 0 flavor. It honestly seems like half the ingredients are missing. There's a thin layer of sauce on noodles with a few small pieces of meat. The sauce does not taste like anything except a slight tomato like flavor, slightly acidic. It was the quality you would expect if you paid like 3$ for some microwave noodles at the store, not 17$ each! There was no spice at all, they didn't ask for spice level either so a knock on the service score for that too. The service was fast at least, I was able to order right away and the food was ready fast (although maybe that's cause they forgot half the ingredients). The price would not be bad for quality pad thai but for what we got it was a total scam. Not at all how we remembered it. I would be curious to try another location to see, but won't bother at this point we aren't just turned off from Thai Express overall. Definitely another couple years without it. Also I would not want to eat in at this location either, it is kind of dark and dingy, and disorganized inside. You can tell they cater mostly to Uber eats or takeout and don't care about making the inside of their restaurant a welcoming and pleasant place to eat. Wish we had checked out the other reviews as well before going. This location is not worth your...
Read moreHaven’t been here in awhile but I always thought of this place as my go-to for Pad Thai. Drove straight here from church, only 2 ladies dining, floor all wet, someone else cleaning the counter and heavy cast iron cooking pans with water while my order is being prepared next to it. 🤔 Didn’t take long and off I go. Got home and hubby was excited I brought Pad Thai home! First thing he asked, did I already eat some of it? I said no! Why? He was surprised the container wasn’t full and when I checked, he’s right! Normally or it used to be you could hardly open the container as it’s packed. We usually split on one order and even have leftovers sometimes. This time, is sure not the same! The chicken pieces were tough to eat, even. Not a whole lot of taste overall. I read the reviews and I couldn’t agree more…this place have gone downhill. What’s the use of their response asking the reviewer to fill the form to resolve issue? It sounded like an automated response they have for every reviews I read. I guess, I’ll go back to one at Place d’Orleans for pad Thai next time. I sure hope the management of this location do something to improve the service and food before it’s too late. It’s very disappointing especially after I left them $5 for tip eventhough...
Read moreI went in to pick up a couple meals for dinner and when I walked in, the restaurant was visibly messy, and there were cleaning supplies scattered on tables everywhere. The service was abrupt and unfriendly, and when I asked them why there wasn’t any lettuce in the Pad Salad that I ordered, which, in the picture, shows a full bed of lettuce topped with some chicken and vegetables, the employee took the bowl from me, shook it, and showed me three to four measly pieces of soggy lettuce hidden under a sea of sauce and cheap, low-quality chicken and vegetables. For nearly $15, I should have received something at least slightly resembling the advertised image. Instead, I got what was pictured in the attached photo. The employee tried to convince me this was normal. Thai Express needs...
