Gabriel Pizza — Restaurant in Ottawa

I’ve been coming here for years whenever I crave breakfast food, I don’t do it often but when I do, I ALWAYS come here! I’ve had bad experiences at Cora’s, Denny’s, Eggspectations and a few other places that serve breakfast. Denny’s isn’t bad necessarily but it pales in comparison to this gem. I’ve never once had a bad experience let alone even one inconsistent breakfast. It always tastes the same (which is amazing), they have THE best value for their breakfast prices always being a lot of food on the plate (I’m a big guy and I’m always full), and best of all, they have the nicest servers always giving stellar service. Best service, best value, and best quality in the city, I don’t know how much better it can really get. Now I almost don’t want to post this review because it just means it’ll get busier and that means harder to get a spot, but they deserve the best review.

I highly recommend the farmers breakfast (double the amount of meat so 6 bacon if you choose that, home fries which are amazingly seasoned, fruit, 3 eggs, AND your choice of pancakes or french toast). I really have trouble finishing this and that makes me so happy because I rarely go to other places and feel full!

Gabriel's Pizza in the Towngate Shopping Centre is one of my favourite breakfast spots. Let’s face it—eggs are eggs, bacon is bacon, and potatoes are potatoes. A breakfast has two key components: food and service. It’s a shame if the food and the service are primarily good because both need to be excellent. The food here is consistently excellent, with generous portions, and the service is usually good. However, with some guidance, their service could match the quality of their food. One area for improvement is the frequency of coffee refills.

Today, I had to flag down my waitress after waiting ten minutes for a refill—a request I believe should be unnecessary. Unfortunately, even after asking, she never returned with my coffee. Despite walking by several times, she didn’t bring the refill. When I requested the bill and the debit machine was brought to me, I inquired about my missed refill. She stated she didn’t remember me asking.

This situation could easily be rectified if servers were prompted to offer refills more frequently. Coffee refills are a part of the breakfast experience and are included in the total price. A little more attention to this detail would ensure a flawless dining experience. Service separates breakfast places: great food and excellent service...

Gabriel pizza is full of scammers!!! I have gone here 8-10 times recently and every time I order the same medium pizza but theres always a different guy that comes to the front and tries to charge me $5-7 more than the actual price of the medium pizza which is $15! To top it off, this last time I went, I ordered again a medium pizza and then they gave me a large instead which is not what I ordered but I was willing to accept it but then when I got home I realized why they randomly gave me a large pizza and it’s because the pizza was old, hard, cold and burnt and I know for sure they did not make it fresh when I had just ordered a few minutes ago as it wasn’t even hot/warm! They gave me an old pizza that was ordered by someone else earlier that day or day before and just gave me this old, cold hard pizza that was someone else’s instead of making me a fresh medium pizza like I asked for! I know many Arabs who are trustworthy and great to their customers but the Arab guys working here just want to scam paying customers and I will never...
