La Bocca Juice — Restaurant in Ottawa

The service was ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!! Ive spent many years working in restaurants and working in an area that allowed me to learn about proper customer service, and i have never been so insulted untell the other day after i came into this resturant. My family(french canadians) and i used to enjoy coming to this resturant about three years ago, the staff was polite and the food was good. although after the first few months the service and food fell apart. there have been three diffent occasions where guy working refused to serve us, he would often do anything that didnt evolve having to make an contact with us. one time we had walked in and we could see that he was on the phone, as soon as he saw us he immediately went to the back of the resturant. We waited a few minutes, i then went to the bathroom and came back and had learned after 5 miutes still was on the phone. he then later came to the front, still refusing to talk to us or make eye contact. we ended up leaving because that has happened more then once. Another occasion was when they were making our food and a middle eastern family came into the resutrant and he immediately stopped prepering our food and only did their meal. we ended up getting our meal almost 10 minutes later after they had finnised the other familes meal, unfortnaly our food was cold, and it was not supposed to be. im not sure what this guys problem, is im sure i could take a few guesses, but he should learn to grow up and treat his customers with alittle more respect. it is incredibly insulting to go there and you will most likely not get good customer service. i do not reccomed this place at all, just save yourself the time and dont bother going. ive heard there are other places that are better and cheaper then what they serve so consider ooking into them. please do not waste...

went in looking for a fresh fruit smoothie. I've never been before and when I had asked what a few items were on the menu, i felt like the young man was irritated. I'm not of middle eastern ethnicity and I'm not familiar with a lot of different items on their menu so of course I wanted to ask. I was told ashta was a cream.. thats it... so ordered my drink.. I was confused about how to order, because I noticed blenders the woman was pouring out of... so i asked to add more fruits to what I wanted and was told it's already blended... but I wasnt sure why she couldnt add more? ..just take out a portion and blend it.. if im paying 10$ for a smoothie I'd like to have it my preferred way... and before I knew it It was poured out of the blenders that had been sitting out or the 15mins it took to get to the front of the line.... and she had put ashta..which it doesn't look like in the photo that it comes with..being lactose intolerant.. and not thinking cream goes in a fruit smoothie.. i was concerned. I left, and of course... I'm in terrible pain -- I googled ashta and it says it's clotted cream, i didnt see anywhere where it says it would be put in my drink.. i drank half and wasted half trying to avoid the ashta. the entire drink was warm.... I was really excited when I walked in. I asked her what kind of restaurant it is. she said Lebanese and followed up by..we've been here for 11 years, and the gave a dirty look.... i don't understand why my questions were met with a tone.... i was excited since i like to support local business that make a great product----guess I'll...

It was a very hot day and I feel like having a nice mango and papaya juice! So I decided to visit this place since was just beside the place I was doing some grocery shopping. All I can say is, didn’t made the best decision going to this place! Starting with the terrible customer service from the lady that was at that time it was around 4:00pm all I asked was I’d like to have a mango and papaya juice that’s all, from the “fresh fruit” you have in the bar fruits. It clearly she didn’t understand my simple order and made a total different juice called tutti frutti. I only wanted those 2 fruits but she made a version super sweet with more fruits. Which I was not satisfied about it. I said to her this is not what I asked and she was insisting this is what you asked for in a impolite and rude way. at the end I said I do not want this juice and she said ok l, I had to go to my vehicle to put my bags and then I came back for the refund which at the end I didn’t get it because she offer me the juice saying was the right one, which was not! I ended up having the super sweet juice that I could only have half of it, feeling so disappointed for that terrible service. My whole experience was unpleasant, not visiting this...
