Your driver came late. Would not give us our pizza for free. Stood on our front step telling us all the reasons we shouldn't get our pizza for free. (As a side note, it's absolutely disgusting that a company as big as Pizza Pizza has their drivers pay for late deliveries. DISGUSTING!) He must have argued with us for 5 minutes, trying to guilt us into paying for it. He called head office and the lady he spoke to told him to give it to us for free. He did. He then left.
10 minutes later, we get a call from the delivery drivers friend, trying to intimidate us into paying for the pizza.
'We will see what happens.' 'Who do you think you are? Do you think you are better then him?'
Were just a few of the things he said to us, ON MY PERSONAL CELL PHONE NUMBER. Let me make this very clear, a Pizza Pizza employee gave MY personal information to his friend (not an employee of Pizza Pizza) to intimidate us.
My husband went outside to make sure our driver had left. Our neighbours approached us and told us the driver started screaming, yelling, shouting and being very visibly angry in our parking lot.
I am really upset by this. My family started ordering Pizza Pizza when I was 12 years old. On Friday nights we would get twin Bacon Cheeseburger Pizzas. Fast forward to me being 37, still wanting to order pizzas for my family on weekends. I have fought my husband tooth and nail for Pizza Pizza over Gabriel's or Milano's. For years I have stood by your company brand. I have recommended you to family and friends. I have ordered your pizzas for family events.
This has left a disgusting taste in my mouth for your company. I have been a loyal customer for 25 years. It will be a tough decision to order from you guys again. Not only because of your drivers personal actions, but because of your company policy forcing drivers to pay for late pizzas. You are a multi million dollar company, forcing minimum wage workers to pay for late pizzas. This is appalling.
Your Online Satisfaction survey does not have enough space for the characters required for me to tell you this story. I was also not given ny copy of my receipt to submit your online statisfaction survey. Meaning, this wouldn't have been put on Google had your driver given...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIām writing this review to share a very upsetting experience I had at a Pizza Pizza location near my house around 11:30 PM. I went in to place an order, and a young lady who appeared to be from India took my order. I politely asked her, after placing my order, to please not touch any pork products in my food due to religious and personal reasons.
Instead of simply respecting my request, she responded rudely and said something along the lines of: āThis isnāt a country where we donāt touch pork,ā and that the owner said they donāt have to respect that.
I was shocked and deeply offended. Itās not about religion onlyāitās about basic respect. I didnāt ask for anything extreme. I just asked that pork not be handled with my food. My wife is Muslim, and we have personal and religious reasons for avoiding pork. Itās our right to make such a request in a respectful way.
What upset me the most was the disrespectful tone and the laughter I received afterward. It felt like my beliefs were mocked. This is Canadaāa diverse and inclusive country where people from all backgrounds, cultures, and religions should feel respected and safe.
I have never left a review like this before, but this situation crossed the line. I also called Pizza Pizzaās customer service immediately and filed a complaint. They took my report seriously and created a case.
Iām asking the owner or manager of this location to please call me directly. This issue is not about a single orderāitās about making sure employees understand that they must respect customers from all backgrounds. If someone working in your store shows this kind of attitude, they should not be in customer service.
I usually order from this location because itās close to my House,, and I know some of the staff there. Many of them work hard and are respectfulābut behavior like this ruins the experience and damages the trust customers place in your business.
This kind of disrespectāespecially related to religionāis unacceptable.
Please reach out to me. I would like to speak to the...
Ā Ā Ā Read morecardboard cardboard should be the new name of this chain. it's a shame because i remember 20 years ago pizza pizza was something to be proud of but now it's just a bunch of individual franchisees who run each store to their own set of rules. When one place says 45 minutes or free the other says 20 or free and the last says it's not even free its a prime example of the lack of structure, rules, unity in this corporation. And for them to take pride in the fact that its an all canadian corporation makes it that much more of a joke since canadian corporations do not run like this. None ive seen anyways. And don't get me started on the actual food because that's where the tears really start to flow. under the guise of giving you something free theyre actually overcharging you and if the food was of quality then it wouldn't hurt so much. for example they say a large pizza with 2 toppings is $10 you would think that's a really good deal until you realize you cannot choose anything but bacon as your free toppings. And 1.75 per topping 4 delivery charge 2 tip and your bill is a meal at red lobster! don't get me wrong I have no issues with bacon but its ridicolous how EVERY SINGLE ITEM IS EXTRA CHARGE. I remember last year steaks and chicken were like the only two things that we're extra charge but now you're lucky you can get pesto sauce without being charged triple. I have no issues with paying for quality food and Quality Service what I cannot stand is when businesses/corporations take credit for generosity while in reality theyre being nothing but conniving at the customers expense. I don't see any improvements and it's sad because it used to be something to...
