Greek On Wheels — Restaurant in Ottawa

NOT RECOMMENDED!!! First of all, I have been waiting for a long time to write this review giving them multiple chances to change some very basic and important issues about their operations and the food! I am Greek and I can tell you that this s... is NOT GREEK no matter how you present it! First things first, the other day I found bugs in my salad,not one but two!! I mean wash the salad that you give to your customers or else one day they'll close you down, it's so easy for someone to sue you for something like that!would you like this to happen to your kid?? WASH YOUR SALADS PEOPLE!! Their customer service couldn't care less about..ANYTHING and don't get me started about the price! Ok so...ONE CHICKEN SKEWER IS 8$!(WHERE IN ALL OTHER PLACES RANGES 4-6$, and it is ALWAYS DRY! Almost broke my tooth the other day). CHICKEN PLATTER WITH ONE SKEWER, repeat ONE skewer is 17$ plus tax. NOT TO MENTION that they have different pricing (more expensive but 1-2$) if you order from skip than their website! You think people are stupid and you are the smart ones! DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM, I know I won't! Never again... Ps. Oh, and it won't hurt if you clean your grill from time to time so the meat you put on won't have the black burnt remains of the previous meat you had grilled! Again,...

A few week-ends back I ordered food for my family and was told that it would be ready in 30 mins. I showed up at the 30 minute mark and had to wait an additional 45 minutes. Due to the delay the person on the cash told me that they would credit my account for the cost of one of my orders. I just called in today to place an order and to use the credit on my account and was told that I did not have a credit. It appears that this is just a ploy to try to appease customers. The gentlemen on the phone then asked me if I was given a gift card. I was not as I took the cashier at his word that my account would be credited. My fault for believing their word. Apparently, their word is not worth anything. So, If they offer you credit ensure that they give you a gift card for the amount that they say they are crediting your account for or else you will be screwed out of the credit just like I just was. Too bad I really enjoyed their food but they have just lost a customer due to their poor...

It wasn't the cheapest take out before and now they've increased their prices about 30% since the pandemic started. Therefore, we don't order from them that often anymore. Well, then, when you order, you expect at least that the food will have the same amount and quality standards, each time. The food in general is okay but what I find quite frustrating is the inconsistency in the plates. I always order the "Greek Combo" which is supposed to include potatoes, according to the menu. Well, sometimes it has potatoes, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes it's quite salty, sometimes it's not. Sometimes it has two Spanakopitas, sometimes one. Sometimes it has a generous amount of calamari, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes the calamari are soggy, sometimes they're crunchy and delicious. I don't think I want to pay anymore $18.99 plus tax for a "you never know what you're going to get" plate. I'll stick to one of many other local restaurants that offer better prices, uniformity and...
