I stopped here with my mother on a quiet Monday early afternoon. There was one other customer in the restaurant and we were served promptly and the person took care of us really well. I have been in quiet restaurants before where you still have to wait for service, but here, they were very attentive. My mother loves spicy food and has had home made Indian food from a work friend so she knows what she likes and what to expect. She found the food was excellent, a great combination of tasty and spicy. We started with the chicken samosas that came with two dipping causes, both were great, a spicy greenish one and a spicy sweet brown one (don't ask me what they were called, lol). We added a garlic naan to the meal and it was awesome. You saw actual garlic and butter was brushed on with green herb. It was fresh and very flavourful. The dishes we had was a chicken karahi (spicy) and lamb madras (medium spicy) and they came with a very healthy helping of rice. We had enough for a couple of meals each, easily. Great portions and very flavourful dishes and amazing service made this place a highly recommend if you are craving Indian food in the Orleans area of Innes in the same mall as Moose McGuire's.

Picked up veg pakoras and chicken samosas in order to try their food first time as its mentioned Pak Indian Restaurant as best in Ottawa. Was eagerly waiting to try for a while. I cant rate their food my goodness. First, veg pakoras are fully made with besan, no sign of veg. I wonder do the restaurant cooks know even what does pakoras are made of. Paying to eat fried besan, seriously! For chicken samosa, 2 came with different stuffings. One with keema and other with dry boiled chicken pieces. Worst food ever tried in Ottawa. Was expecting atleast decent food as its located in one of the busiest areas of Ottawa. But truly, if the owners will see my review, it’s the month of the Holy Ramadan, please serve the foods that customers deserve though they spent their money. The one we got today is disaster, thankfully I just got appetizers nothing more. Thanks

First time at this restaurant. Came with my family on recommendation. Wanted to order Masala Tea which is on their menu but was disappointed when waitress said they do not have any Tea bags. Weird that an Indian restaurant would have no tea bags. Food was good, large portions. Had a bit of a spill of the water on our table and asked for something to wipe up the water so it didn’t drip off the table. Waitress brought us the tiniest paper napkins which were not helpful. Had to go to the bathroom and get the paper towel to wipe the water off the table. Wouldn’t come to this place again. Only 1 waitress working taking orders for 3 tables and also working the front desk. Maybe buy a bulk amount of Tea bags and provide larger paper napkins? Or cloth napkins would be nice. Also their wheelchair accessibility buttons were not working on their side.

I always loved the food here at Pak India however had a very unfortunate customer experience. I ordered from Skip the Dishes but the courier never arrived, which is by no means Pak India's fault. However, after an hour and half of waiting I called the restaurant and they advised me that they gave the food to the courier 5 minutes ago (delivery time was maximum 30 minutes) and guaranteed delivery of 5 minutes. The food never came and I got my refund. By no means was I looking for any money from Pak India but I wanted to call and inform them of the situation and to advise them that their staff should not be making false guarantees when it is out of their hands. I spoke to the owner for 6 minutes and he was absolutely rude, would not admit that their staff made any mistakes, and told me he knows how to run a business, that I can do anything I want to do, proceeded to interrupt me, and then told me he doesn't want to speak to me and hung up on me. I never am the type to leave a bad review but this customer experience was terrible when I advised I love their food, and to tell his staff not to make these guarantees when they are not in fact guaranteed. I have ordered from them multiple times and one hundred percent will no longer be a client of theirs...

The story starts....1st day Wednesday 22nd May 2019, went to do iftaar with a friend of mine. Had a great experience with food and service. Next day Thursday, I told my friends and went again (10 of us) on that day. We had a great experience again. Hence, I recommended to my very close friends to do iftaar there. But hearing their utterly bad experience on Friday 24th 2019 where they were literally got told to leave the restaurant because they haven't reserved prior to coming. Shocking part was, they were accompanied by one of the restaurant people to be seated and they also took food and later on before they could break their fast, manager came and rudely told them to leave the restaurant. I can't imagine how in the world any sane business would resort to this kind of behavior. There are ways one can resolve the problem and none of them results in telling any seated customers to leave no matter what the situation is. I truly detest this kind of behavior and would urge everyone of you to avoid this restaurant if you don't want to be humiliated!!! I initially gave a high rating but now have to give 1 star....I am feeling guilty that I had recommended my friends and they were humiliated for...
