H&R Pizza and Wings — Restaurant in Ottawa

Ordered a special for 2 pizzas with 3 toppings each and 48 wings for $59.95, was super impressed with the low price for so much food. Unfortunately we made the mistake of ordering some garlic dipping sauce to go with the pizza, it wasn't until after eating some of it that we realized they had been expired for months (1 of them since June 2020) naturally I called back to complain about that and was met by a very apologetic response which was also not greatly received seeing as the person on the phone was doing everything in their power to blame it on the supplier for the dipping sauces rather then the staff not checking expiration dates (the one expired in June 2020 had a completely different lids then the other ones and it is very unlikely a supplier would miss that detail). Even still I decided to take the offer of refunding the cost of the dipping sauces and sending some of their in house garlic sauce they used for their shawarmas as the person on the phone told me... Naturally I was even more upset when the delivery driver showed back up with the same Heinz garlic dipping sauces and insisted they came from a different store... Why say you are going to send a sauce made in house and send the same Heinz dipping sauce... Obviously they think their customers are stupid and will believe the lies they are spewing and be ok with it. Also as a secondary point if you want bacon on your pizza order elsewhere because there was more bacon fat then actual bacon. 1 star review is simply because I can't review with 0 stars, thoroughly...

Good food, cheap wings. However, after having been delivered to about 5 times (to my work and house), we placed an order online only to receive a very abrupt phone call 20 minutes later saying "You're out of our delivery area, you have to pick up". Seeing as he wasn't very friendly we just cancelled our order after explaining 2 days previously he had delivered to us, he didn't seem to care. Yesterday, we decided to pick up, after ordering online I see they automatically added a tip into the order. We cancelled again as I honestly think its quite ballsy to assume to get a tip for a pickup order. It's unfortunate as they do have good food, and I would have tipped had they not automatically added it...

I have ordered from H&R many m ashy times and had great pizza. Traditionally, I would order pepperoni, bacon and olives. Tried it out ham and pineapple with a craving. Instead of ham, the pieces are small cut pieces that resemble and taste like cut up hot dog. I have no idea why but this does not have any luck or taste of ham and quite frankly it was inedible as a result I would not order this pizza ever from H&R. I don’t know what is going on, but this was not what I ordered and it was very strange. Either the ham was going bad or it is hot but not a quality ham and does not in anyway go well with the pineapple! Not sure if they ran out if real ham and we’re cost cutting...
