My boyfriend and I went to Harvey’s through the drive thru at 8:15 pm Monday, January 6th 2020 and we were extremely disappointed and frustrated with the service we received. We were met at the drive thru with a very rude, short and unwelcoming voice taking our order. We paid and then waited in the drive thru for 25-30mins!! We watched as three other customers came into the store and were served their food.We sat there wondering what was going on. We watched him incorrectly make our burger and then set it aside to get soggy and cold. We noticed that there was only one guy working the drive thru, cash and preparing the burgers and one guy cooking in the back. The cook stopped what he was doing and walked over to chat with a lady working on the Swiss Chalet side and not do their job. We decided to park and come into the store to put a rush on things and tell them we were upset. The manager looked like a deer in headlight as if she had to idea what to do or say and the two guys that were working there said nothing to us at all. No apologies or anything. Once we came in and talked to them, while the manager got our food, the two workers went to the back of the Swiss chalet side and talked about us and looked over at us rather than do their job or talk to us directly. We wouldn’t have minded to wait for our apple pie to cook longer if they had talked to us and asked for our patience at the drive thru window. Instead we were ignored and they helped other people first. I said that drive thru should be first priority and I shouldn’t wait for than 5 mins let alone 25!! They then gave me my food and again no apology or offer of compensation to make us happy at all. Our food was not made properly, soggy, cold and not worth that long wait. "The cashier was rude and not professional at all. I was trying to get a different item then I normally get (half chicken dinner) and asked him how come there were no options to get a 2nd quarter chicken (only the chicken) without having to for a full meal again, because the price for the chicken only is MORE than the mean!!!! His response was "I don't know, hey I don't make the prices... do you want it or not" in snarky rude tone... as to to just dismiss my inquiry. I go to that location quite often and usually get my quarter chicken dinner with the extra chalet sauce. However, after this experience I will seriously reconsider going there again!!"
I got an email reply telling that someone would get back to me in 2 business days and no one got back to me (to resolve) the issue. So I followed up 4 days later (March 24th) and it was the same song, they said they followed up with the store and someone will get back to me. A day later March 25th, I get an email asking....
"Your feedback is important to us! We would like to know if you were satisfied with our handling of your concern/inquiry."

Read moreWent to pick up dinner on Friday night and was unimpressed by the staff and service. I ordered the Buffalo chicken poutine (2) and requested that half my cheese be out onto my husband's poutine. Staff that took the order looked angry that I made the request, told me it couldn't be done in a sharp tone and then another staff corrected her which led to her giving attitude to me until I got my order and left. Very sharp, angry tone and cut me off twice while I tried to order.
As I was leaving I saw that staff eating my other half bag of cheese that I requested get put on my husband's poutine, missing a pie which was discovered after I ate and no cutlery which meant we stopped at Tim Hortons to request forks as I didn't want to go back inside to ask due to the experience.
