Laziz Broast & Mix Grill broast Ottawa — Restaurant in Ottawa

I was first introduced to Laziz at a home dinner where someone brought over an order of their coleslaw to go with our meal. It was unanimous from all 6 guests that this was the best coleslaw any of us have ever had.

I visited the restaurant in person a couple of weeks ago to pick up more coleslaw and to try other items on the menu.

Tandoori Chicken plate & Chicken Souvlaki plate were delicious. Chicken was tender and cooked perfectly. Lots of flavor. Portions were very generous. Great value for the price. The greek salad was served with green pimento olives as apposed to the traditional black olives, but the salad was still great with generous amount of feta cheese. The salad served with the tandoori chicken had a fantastic creamy dressing on it. Not sure exactly what the dressing was, but it was delicious. Rice was very flavorful with great color.

Broast chicken was A++. Better than any of the other usual places you would go to for fried chicken. They definitely know how to broast here.

The experience inside is great. Very friendly and they took the time to go over their menu with us and provide recommendations. The kitchen and chef are visible from the counter and from speaking with them you can instantly tell that they are proud of their food.

Try all the homemade sauces, they are all fantastic and each one brings something different.

So much more on the menu to try. Looking forward to trying their piri piri, steak, burgers and wraps...

I just called the guy thought I said beef chicken combo when I even spelled it for him over and over "Piece". He kept mocking me when I'm pretty sure he got what I said by the third time I spelled it for him. At the end when I placed my order I said thank you he didn't even reply he just hung up on me. Very disrespectful. The only reason I'm going to pick up the food is for my mom. This certainly will be the last time despite the good food. Update. OMG where do I start after posting the previous my mom goes to pick up the food they tell her to wait after 30 minutes despite telling us it will be ready in 10. I worked in a restaurant and I know a borast machine takes 10 minutes to cook. I call him to see why it's taking so long and he mockes my mom for not being patient. Are you serious?? I recorded the whole thing and I'm posting it on Facebook so people know how much of a jackass that owner is. When I confronted him about his attitude he told me he dosnt care and that's how he works unbelievable. I'm speechless. IF THAT'S HOW YOU WORK THEN CLOSE YOUR RESTAURANT. THE CUSTOMERS ARE THE REASON WHY...

I don't know about dine-in but the skipthedishes delivery order was a horrible experience.

I literally ordered from this place based on the good reviews. But now kind of skeptical if they are paid for since the food was very very mediocore.

The chicken was anything but grilled in my grilled chicken burger. Literally chewed the raw chicken like gum. The chicken seemed bad fatty quality.

The beef tikka wrap is a pathetic attempt and shames the name itself. Weirdly cut little beef pieces that looked of poor quality AGAIN red inside undercooked. To top off the mediocrity they put a cucumber mix in the sandwich. Ended up throwing most of it out.

Messed up my friends chicken burger putting onions when instructed not to because of allergy.

The fries were so soggy and bland it would make you cry.

Another bonus of having drinks that seemed like they just came out of an oven was great.

It was not worth the wait time or $ at all as to top it all off the food was cheap.

No quantity or quality, thanks laziz broast and grill...
