I used to love this location. Family, friends and I ordered in store or through Uber Eats dozens of times.
Then late summer ‘23 something changed. Many orders were wrong (completely different dishes from what we ordered, missing items, incorrect add-on ingredients).
Worse ALL orders started coming (especially using Uber) w/ 70-90% lettuce and rice but only 2-3 tiny “bits” of tofu, meat, beans, etc. that were ordered. Comparing an order to the photos in their menu became a bad joke. I, family and friend all tried calling them multiple times and spoke to 5 different ppl , 3 of whom claimed to be the manager. In every case, we were promised that our order would be fixed “this time “and that they would talk to the owner about the problem, and in every case, except one out of probably 15 orders, they still sent over something that looked like it had been put together by a toddler with rice and lettuce, missing almost all of the other ingredients. again.
We usually ordered (5-6 ppl) $80-140 of food, and got 2-3 bucks of rice, lettuce and occasional beans with 2-3 very small pieces (max) of protein (per person).
In each case, if we called to complain, they saidto come into the store and talk to the manager. This was really frustrating to say the least. We got screwed up orders and they want us to come in a few days later to talk to a different person?. Still we tried that it didn’t make any difference.
In the end sometime before Christmas, we all gave up. Nobody was getting anything they ordered or as mentioned if the dish ordered actually came, it was mostly rice and lettuce. And I don’t know very many people, including my own family who can afford to spend the prices that this place charges for basic rice and lettuce, and a few beans especially when that isn’t what is showing in the menu or what is promised over the phone.
So I won’t order here again, and after 6+ months of this nonsense I’m 100% sure of my opinion. I highly recommend you try a different restaurant. It’s really a shame, as it was great in the beginning, and The really does need a healthy option especially for vegetarians. Read moreI wish I could give 0 stars. Not only at this location but at multiple locations over the last year and a half either via Uber eats or going to pick up my order has been wrong. We always order the Piri Piri bowls with TOFU and always end up with chicken. We had to call the Albert location because they messed up our order multiple times in a week! They say they cater to plant based or vegan options but they clearly don’t care about their customers who do not consume meat. We had been so disappointed we stopped coming all together.
I finally decided to give this location a try tonight via the mobile order. First they forgot to add the cookie which I had to wait for, I then drove all the way home as I was only stopping by the area. When we sat down and opened the bowls not only was the avocado missing from one of the bowls not BOTH bowls again had chicken in them. When I called about the order not only did the worker audible laugh about the situation, they told me I had to email to get my money back.
Very disappointed in this company as there is a clear systemic issue when it comes to their food preparation. They clearly have a problem with the plant based community and have made it very clear we are not...
