Manhattans Hand-Made Burgers: A Flavor Explosion on Laurier Ave.
From the moment we set foot inside, the warm-hearted employees of Manhattans Hand-Made Burgers extended their hospitality, effortlessly setting the stage for our impending culinary adventure. Their attentive service was just the beginning of what turned out to be a meal to remember.
Drawn to its tantalizing promise, I ordered the peppercorn ranch burger accompanied by a side of their crispy fries. The burger, while not winning any awards for its presentation, was a masterpiece in terms of taste. Its slightly messy appearance belied the flavor-packed punch it packed within. The patty was succulent and juicy, while the fresh ingredients melded together in a harmonious blend. The peppercorn sauce provided a zesty kick, amplifying the overall taste. The fries, golden and perfectly seasoned, were the ideal companion to the burger.
The burger's hearty size and abundance of fresh ingredients presented a delightful challenge, as it playfully threatened to fall apart with every bite. This wasn’t a drawback, but rather a testament to its generous stuffing and authenticity. A piece of advice for fellow diners: an ample supply of napkins will be your best friend during this delicious endeavor!
At roughly $20 for the combo, I felt the meal offered substantial value for money, especially given the quality and portion size. All in all, Manhattans Hand-Made Burgers stands out not only for its flavors but as a spot I'll eagerly return to during future visits to...
Read moreManhattan’s Handmade Burgers, located in a bustling downtown food court, offers a dining experience that is both convenient and satisfying. With a rating of 4/5, this establishment excels in several areas while falling slightly short in others. The burgers are undoubtedly the highlight, made fresh to order and boasting a juicy, beefy flavor that surpasses typical fast food quality. Prices are a bit higher than average, but the quality justifies the cost, with burgers ranging from $6 to $14. The fries, which appear to be French-cut, are a notable side dish. They are crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, meeting the criteria for perfect French fries. However, some reviews I read before I come suggest that the fries can be inconsistent, sometimes lacking the desired crispiness. The poutine is also highly praised, with the option to add fry spices enhancing the flavor. The ambiance is casual, with a counter-service style that fits well into the food court setting. While it may not offer a traditional dining experience, the efficiency and friendliness of the staff make up for this. Overall, Manhattan’s Handmade Burgers is a great choice for those seeking a high-quality, quick meal in the heart of the city. Despite some minor inconsistencies, the burgers and fries make it a worthwhile stop for anyone craving a satisfying...
Read moreMy review is on the Owner of this location, which in my opinion, who owns the place makes for return customers or not.
He is extremely unprofessional. They were looking to hire for cashier help, called me in for an interview and everything seemed great. During the interview he did happen to mention that one of his chiefs is in his words "a serious alcoholic" , that all of the guys there "like to party hard and drink alot" , which really is no type of subject matter for an "owner" to be using in an interview.
Things seemed to be going well and he told me that he deffently wanted to bring me in to try me out, and he promised to call that night or the next day to sched. my first day going in. Ofcourse he didn't. A week passed and he failed to return my email. I went on google to find the number to give him a call and found nothing but bad reviews about him and how he "runs" his business. Paying employees late as I read and treating people with a lack of respect.
Funny enough my aunt was telling me over thanksgiving that she had ate at a manhattans and was disguested to see one of the food prep people picking their nose in the front , near the cash. I asked which location it had been and go figure.
I would never eat at a place where the owner has a lack of professionalism and respect for people he interviews or people...
