How about not acting like it’s a moral failure that I happened to call 3 minutes after closing to ask when you closed? “We are RUSHING to clean and answer the phone”. I didn’t ask whether or not I inconvenienced you, I asked if you were still open.
Holy. That’s some rough customer service skills.
Edit upon response:
While I understand that it was a busy day for your establishment, and commend your efforts in supporting the local community through fundraising, I must express my disappointment with the response provided.
My intention in leaving my review was not to criticize the community involvement or the efforts of your staff, but rather to highlight an aspect of customer service that fell short of expectations. Despite your explanation, the initial response to my inquiry came across as dismissive and somewhat confrontational, which left me feeling frustrated.
Customer service is about more than just providing a product or service; it's also about fostering positive interactions and addressing customer inquiries with patience and professionalism. While I empathize with the challenges of managing a busy establishment, it's important to remember that each interaction with a customer shapes their perception of your business.
I hope that this feedback can be taken constructively and used to improve the overall customer experience at your establishment. Maintaining a balance between community involvement and quality customer service is key to building a strong and supportive reputation within the community.

Read moreAfter hearing of long line ups for the fritters , I stopped by today.Over 50.00 for a dozen donuts .I had to try the much talked about fritters , very disappointed, the fritters were flat , hard and stale , for 4.75 a fritter , I will not purchase again .The other donuts I purchased were the worst donuts I have ever had , disguised with sweet frosting and toppings. All of my dinner guests were of the same opinion . The stale donuts that are disguised with sweet frosting and toppings are half the size of a Suzy Q donut. When you walk in a donut shop in mid afternoon an hourr before they close and they are fully stocked says a lot .The young lady serving me informed that they freeze what is not sold frosting and all.Did I pay for recycled donuts? I do think this place will be around long.Suzy Q is a much better donut and never stale or recycled...

Today was even more exceptional, I don't recall the lady's name however she is one of the co-owners with her parents and we had a great chat about how she went to Algonquin for baking then did personal training for a while then during covid went back to baking. She was so personable and just super kind and caring. She made the experience that extra special for us. Especially as i was in today with my clients who is on the spectrum who has difficulty with boundaries and she was amazing and so kind and understanding towards him.
