We went here on a Tuesday morning with 4 adults. The place is located at an industrial area. It's a stand alone place and not that big. It's a chill diner vibe, place was clean and bright. We sat by the booth. The place was not too busy at the time, and had a couple of other customers.
Menu is straightforward, and prices are pretty decent compared to a lot of breakfast places. They also had options of Lebanese breakfast items, which looked good, but none of us ordered it at the time. They also have other menu for lunch.
We ordered Louie Louie, Florentine benedict, salmon bagel, and Bama lama, all of the platters came with homefires as sides, option of fried or grilled, with onions or not.
Everyone enjoyed their food. I had the Florentine benedict - the poached egg was cooked well, nice and runny, and hollandaise sauce was creamy. I had the fried homefries and it was okay, average. The grilled homefries was a tad bit better, which I tasted to compare. The salmon sandwich was delicious, the corn beef platter was good and had a healthy amount of corn beef, and Louie Louis was liked as well - as per reviewed by the others.
Server came by often enough to check on us. Prices are decent and service was quick, but it wasn't busy at the time, and day of the week (like not on a weekend such as Sat/Sun). I would recommend and would like to try their Lebanese dishes...
Read moreAfter seeing all of the good reviews I wanted to try Miss Mollys. The two waitress that served me were nice and polite. However the meal was nothing to rave about or go back for another visit. I ordered a shish taouk with fries and my companion ordered miss mollys burger. The burger was just ok tasting, it was a frozen patty served on COLD brioche bun so it was nothing special. The shish taouk had a yellow spiced chicken it was either too much turmeric or curry I'm not sure but the flavour overwhelmed everything else. It was not enjoyable and I've had many shish taouks and I've never tasted one like this or seen one with yellow spiced chicken. So I sent the meal back. I never send meals back but it wasn't good enough for me to bring home and try it again later. I was not expecting a food comp but at least an offer for another entree or a small percent off of my total would have been good seeing how the meal was sent back. I will not be visiting this establishment and would like to advise others not to spend their...
Read moreMiss Molly's is an understated but quality eating experiance. The decore is simple but clean and well lit and the staff are friendly and attentive. The menu is an eclectic mix of classic diner food, canadian standbys like poutine as well as Lebanese food. With a frequent inclusion of Korean style beef or hollandaise sause in meals of all origins, the menu is 'doing it's own thing'.
Regardless of the menu's idiosyncrasies, the food is very good. Like most things at Miss Molly's its unpretentious but its clear that both care and fresh ingredients go into the food. The value is also uncommonly good for this day and age. Portion sizes are generous and you'll get a hefty amount of meat on your plate. The prices are well bellow average too.
A concern worth mentioning is that the bathroom is down a set of stairs, so they arent accessible for people with mobility issues.
With that said I can happily recommend Miss Molly's if youre looking for a good hearty diner meal, potentially...
