As a Hong Konger. I have to say the HK milk tea needs to be strong. It tasted very water down tea. And for that, the price doesn't justify the quality.

I will give them another chance sometime down the road and edit my review, hoping they will adjust their recipe. And I wouldn't mine the price if it was good the first time I had it. I at actually watched how it was prepared, I understand its not viable to make it like Hong Kong. At least use condensed milk and not sugar syrup. Use a mixture of condensed milk and evaporated milk. The other part is its not hot enough, I noticed they used the steamer to make the tea hot. But when topping up the cup with cold milk it will bring the tea temperature down. Quiet and convenient coffee house perfectly located across from the Parkdale market. A great place to stop after you've done your shopping at the market.

Coffee was good, I had London fog tea, which was good.

There is an assortment of snacks and sandwiches available. While we were there there was a steady stream of customers doing take out but few in the actual sit-down part. It is a kind of a hidden gem. A quiet coffee house you can go and enjoy a good coffee without the hustle and bustle and noise of other main stream coffee shops.

My recent experience at the morning owl was very disappointing. I have been to morning owl before and received a high-quality though quite expensive meal, but the breakfast sandwich i had in this instance was terrible. The English muffin was un-toasted and the bacon seemed microwaved from a few days ago. The tomato was close to rotten and the flavour of the sandwich was non-existent.
