Mucho Burrito Fresh Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Ottawa

I’ve had mucho for 4+ years and it’s been my go to takeout food. This is the worst mucho I’ve visited ever by far.

The staff member who served us seemed to be upset with serving me more than 2 toppings and became annoyed with every extra topping I added, with when arriving to the sauce at the end seemed to purposefully ruin our tacos by drenching both meals in 5/6 lengthwise and HORIZONTALLY over the tacos causing the entire meal to be half sour cream even after I asked them to stop. The mango in the mango salsa was also crunchy somehow and the Carnitas tasted off (I’ve ate mucho so much I can tell when it’s not right) leading to upset stomach and nausea which is a first from my experiences with mucho.

It was inedible and I threw out both meals after 3 bites (first time I’ve ever done this at mucho). With lower quality ingredients compared to other locations and bad care by the staff who seemed to have the intention to ruin my meal with the amount of sauce. The overall environment and respect from the staff made me embarrassed to hold such high standards for mucho

AVOID THIS LOCATION, never been more disappointed in a mucho and considering I chose it simply for connivence in location I’ll be sticking with the any other location

I truly wish I took a picture of how truly unappetizing this meal looked and tasted and could compare it to the consistent meal that mucho locations usually offer. However I was in such a rush to throw out the waste of money that was my meals that I didn’t bother, as this location has almost certainly lost me as a customer for any point...

I want to start off by saying I've been a customer at this location for a long time. I normally go in Sundays after work to grab some much needed comfort food and have never had any issues and have never had a negative experience until today.

I'm not sure if it was the owner or the manager but it is someone I've never seen before and because of an error made by an employee being trained, this man essentially accused me of theft and tried to force me to pay twice, despite my ability and willingness to open my banking app and show him not once but twice that I paid, clearly showing the date, amount, location and account number for the restaurant. This man decided that because his system had an error, and because I was overcharged originally even before leaving a tip as I know it's hard working under these conditions and it is stressful for new employees, that because his system couldn't reconcile the error I needed to-for some reason-pay again, despite 2 separate times proving I had paid for my meal. To essentially claim I am trying to steal despite me more than willingly showing proof of payment twice and doing my very best to be patient despite being treated incredibly disrespectfully, is unacceptable.

I ran a retail business for many years before becoming a teacher and I would never have let any of the employees who work under me treat a customer this way. I honestly don't think that I'll be giving any more business to this location after this incident despite YEARS of being a very...

I have been going here for years, the food was always good quality well some times the rice would be hard and stale but what ever can't always be perfect. Staff is nice. My issues is that I recently did an uber eats order for 1 Mucho Burrito Chicken, when I got the food I was eating it in the dark and it tasted really chewy, when I turned on the lights it was a pull pork burrito. I was traumatized since I have never eaten pork in my life. I call the restaurant and they gave me the owners number. Once I called the store owner he just told me to call uber eats to get a full refund. Thats it? A long time customer and you pretty much just destroyed his day and don't even offer further compensation besides money back? Or even an Apology on negligence from staff?
