My husband came in today to buy one of the rice dishes and he got me lemon grass shakabowl. we got home and the food looked liked someone had ate and that was a leftover. We did not even open the bowl as we can see the quantity through the lid. We tried calling to speak to someone but we didnt get through. We drove back to the location and my husband went back in to speak to a staff/manager. Note that both food are untouched including the general Thai rice dish. We brought everything back exactly how it was given to us initially. I was very dissapointed when my husband returned with the feedback that they were adamant and said they will never serve that quantity of food, going back and forth with him almost insinuating we ate some of the food and drove all the way back just to waste our gas to speak to someone. We have ordered here before several times and the order was right but not this time. Its sad that they didnt take this opportunity to apologise for wateva this was but rather insinuating and and insisting that they will never serve such food and that my husband should have checked the order before leaving. I get that but, it doesnt change the fact that we didnt get what we ordered and paid for. That is very poor Customer Service not to apologise to him for your mishap or whatever happened in the kitchen. Not all people are liars. there are honest and sincere people still in this world. Anyways after all the hesitation and insinuation of what they think we did with the food they decided to top up with more sauce and lettuce. I get home and finally opened the bowl only to find out its missing the noodles it usually comes with, its just a wholes lots of lettuce, beans sprout, few slices of carrot, green peppers, chicken and a half a bowl of sauce which have no lemon grass flavor at all. if a staff or manager had taken the food n take a look or actually make a fresh one to ensure the correct food was made the 2nd time around this would have ressolved this issue. Rather they were ready to argue, wasted my time, money and gas. This leaves a bad taste in my mouth that my husband was questioned that way and even after all that and going there the 2nd time i still left with the wrong order. I never knew I had to check for the correct order by using a fork to stir the food to ensure it comes with all ingredients. The missing noodles was the actual reason why the food was at the bottom of the bowl in the first place but noone ensured that. We will not be returning to this location again. I buy the same dish from this place and other locations...
Read moreHad a really difficult time communicating with the cashier. If you ever planning on visit this particular location, I hope you're amazing with charades since most of the ordering will be done via hand gestures. Unfortunately my body language was not expressive enough to indicate that I wanted Pad see ew with beef, as the result the cashier lady gave me the beef noodle soup instead....
Just to provide you some additional data points in case you think my review is biased..
The lady in front of me ordered vegan pad thai, upon receiving her food, she asked the cashier if her order was in fact vegan. To one's surprise, the cashier really struggled to understand the word "vegan", especially considering she's working at a fast food restaurant..
The uber eats guy had to physically show his phone to the cashier lady to pick up his order..
Nothing against the Chinese cashier lady since we are all immigrants here, but perhaps she should really consider taking an ESL class before running this place...
Read moreHave been here several times, but in the last 6 months I've seen a declined in quality and quantity of food served. Like I mean for $20-$23.00 per plate of food I expect a decent amount of vegetables in it instead of just a full box of noodles and rice and only two or three pieces of veggies. This is what happens Everytime I order pad seew. I can even count the tree pieces of broccoli I find in it. Another thing I've noticed you order something on the menu like the green curry with eggplant and then get charged an additional $2.00 for it when it is already on the menu, under chose your flavor. Then when I get the curry only two pieces of eggplant and lots of rice. C'mon if youre going to charge extra for veggies than I expect at least a decent amount. Their rice seems to be very mooshy and overcooked lately. I guess I will have to go somewhere else from now on to avoid the...
