Persian Wedding Catering My husband and I don't know where to begin with this review. We are forever grateful for the incredible staff at ParsItal for making our wedding food dreams come true. Mr. Mohsin (owner) and Ghazale (lead hostess, who was more like a fairy God Mother to me!) made the impossible, possible by brining the taste of traditional Persian cuisine into the heart of Lac-Sainte-Marie, Quebec for our 80 guest Persian-Canadian wedding this past summer. Yes, they traveled over 100km to make this happen!
When we approached ParsItal to cater, we didn't know what to expect. From the moment we met Mr. Mohsin, we were so impressed by his professionalism and his attention to detail. Mr. Mohsin and his team went above and beyond to ensure that not only the quality of the food was to standard, but also helped support and advocate for our vision to become reality by sharing his insights on the details of linens, place settings and cutlery that was so welcomed by us as we were so occupied in all the other wedding details. ParsItal was seamless in their communication and preparation not only in the months and weeks before the wedding, but they were fully self-sufficient on the day of.
They treated us like family - I could tell they cared about our special day as much as we did. We not only felt it by how much work they put in, but everyone could taste it! Our guests STILL talk about the incredible food they served 6 months on!
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
(My only regret is that our photographer didn't take pictures of the food set-up and serving space as we were out doing couples photos, so unfortunately I don't have specific images of the...
Read moreWe arrived around 8:15 pm and, although the restaurant was empty and closing time was just around the corner, we were welcomed by the only server on site, Marysa, with an open heart and a beautiful, sincere smile. I ordered a Straciatella soup because soup is my comfort food, and I really needed it that day. The cook prepared it on the spot, and it was delicious, one of the best soups I have ever tasted. This comes from someone who cooks soups of all kinds. Next, we ordered two Iranian meals, one - lamb and grilled veggies and salad, the other one - veal and split lentil stew with eggplants and Iranian rice. They were both delicious - tender meat and perfect blend of ingredients. Everything was "seasoned" with the care Marysa kindly and respectfully offered us as a hostess during the 45 min we spent in the restaurant and also with the interesting small interactions/ conversations we had with her. The food was delicious without any doubt, the place has a calming and relaxing atmosphere, but the entire experience was enhanced by a young person who chose to be professional and most of all, a kind human being. Thank you Cook and Marysa for the impeccable service and for feeding us at the end of a very long and tiring day! Google has only 5 stars, but...
Read moreWorst Italian food I have ever tasted in my entire life. I really thought that the title “ParsItal” would have Italian cuisine in mind boy was I wrong. It’s great to experiment and explore with diversity in food but it’s better to be a master of one than a jack of all trades sometimes and this is one of those times. The seafood linguine is more like Muscle water 💧 and salt alongside an overly cooked thin linguine great combination right. The Alfredo fettuccines were average at best(at least it didn’t smell) but the veal was dry and over cooked no seasoning. The only good that came from our families experience with this restaurant was the lamb shank and kabobs which we added to our order since the whole table smelled putrid from the horrible seafood linguine. Please if you come her only order Persian food stick away from the Italian side. The only thing that was Full was the bill which we paid but sadly we came home and our mood completely shifted due to such a horrible food experience. Although it was our choice to come here on Eid evening we will most definitely not be coming again. I’ll make it up...
