THIS IS FOR RIDEAU STREET LOCATION: I never thought I would be writing a bad review for Panago Pizza but I will certainly share this review around.
To start, we just ordered two separate pizzas on a walk in. Immediately, we noticed a tall gentleman with a beard and silver pinky ring. He was putting cheese on another order but an UberEats driver comes for pickup. He asks her to wait and then he proceeds to walk to the back and grab the order and give it to her. BUT! HE DOESNT WASH HIS HANDS. He continues to reach for the pineapples and puts it on the pizza. Strike one. I was visibly perturbed so he comes over to ask how we are doing and tells me he could be better. Huh?
Then he finishes and my boyfriend and I BOTH saw him cough into his hand AND HE STILL DIDN'T WASH HIS HANDS. Strike two.
To add insult to injury, it took 30 minutes so he offers a free drink or dipping sauce. Things appear to be looking up. A drink is $2 and dipping sauce is $.75. So my boyfriend ultimately asks for 2 dipping sauces because WE BOTH WAITED and one dipping sauce is hardly sufficient for 2 pizzas. And the guy says no you'll have to pay $.75 for the next one. Strike three.
My boyfriend proceeds to ask him if they don't wear gloves (I know that they don't because I go to the location in Whitby weekly and it's fantastic, clean and good every time). He says, "No. But we wash very frequently." And he tells him we watched him cough in his hands and he has the nerve to say, "No don't think I did." On top of that, they make the pizzas with RINGS on. One had a pinky ring on and the other a wedding band. Panago. That's ridiculous. As a company, you're better than this. This was a pathetic experience.
And the pizza is horrible FYI. The dough is UNDERCOOKED and so was the pepperoni on my boyfriend's pizza. Never had a bad experience with Panago until today. Extremely disappointed. Avoid this place. I'm still trying to understand how you could undercook a pizza and make us wait an...
Read moreif you need any specific changes to your pizza or care about careful service don’t order from this place. we ordered two pizzas without cheese only for them to put cheese on not one but both of the pizzas. i stood there watching everyone else eat during my own birthday dinner while i waited for them to fix their mistake. i understand businesses make mistakes, but you think they could read the request. i would expect this from like a street vendor but for a business that prides themselves on having lots of plant-based options (it literally says on the side or the box) you think they would be a little more careful. it makes you wonder how much effort they actually put into their pizzas. i’m not from ottawa but i can tell you even if i was i wouldn’t order from them again even if i was and definitely will not be during future visits. i forgive a lot of things, this is my first one star review ever - but yeah i’m frustrated with their lack of effort.

Read moreOrdered a pizza and waited 2 hours for it to be delivered and it was cold. They gave me a credit when I complained. So I gave them another chance and used the credit and this time it took 2 hours and 55 minutes for a pizza to arrive. I don't know how this location stays in business.
Update: Panago tells me to contact customer service, which I had already done, more than once. Finally got a second credit for the second bungled order. Tried to use that credit during posted open hours, but there's no delivery option available until the next day! (I could schedule a delivery a day ahead, which is pretty well how long it takes for a Panago pizza to arrive, so maybe not a bad idea.)
