I have come here multiple times. The food is decent. I love there dahi puri and chana bhatura. Really good! Most of the people that are serving are super sweet as well but what is up with that one girl that wears glasses? It would have been a 5 star review but she really kills the vibe.
I understand that students are in a lot of stress in this economy and you can have a bad day or maybe two but everytime we get her she is rude. No matter how many times I say thank you or even tip her she would not even smile or reply back in a kind way. Girl, if you don’t like the job, quit it. But don’t bring such sadness and anger at your workplace and especially to the customers who are still trying to be nice to you even though you are rude af.
I have worked in the food industry for three years myself but I never served the food with a nasty face or ignored a customer who said thank you to me. It doesn’t cost money to be polite and kind to others. Anyways, I might still come but if she is serving I will just do a takeout with no tip. Don’t want such negative energy in my life.
Replying to the owner: thank you for such a quick response. The recent visit we had was on August 17th saturday around 5:20ish. Again, I do not want the person to be fired or given any harsh consequence but if you can please talk to them or train them regarding proper customer service. I get it that we indians can be the most annoying customers sometimes but not all deserve to be treated the same way. If the other person is being polite the least you can do is be...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Spice Divine Kitchen in Ottawa, and it was an experience to remember! The restaurant offers an impressive selection of Indian street food and Indo-Chinese dishes, each bursting with authentic flavors. I particularly enjoyed the Veg Paneer Frankie and the Gravy Manchurian, which were both perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection.
The ambiance is cozy and inviting, making it a great spot for a casual meal. Despite being busy, the staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring that our dining experience was smooth and enjoyable. I also appreciate the late-Certainly! Here's a positive review for a grocery st have been thoroughly impressed by the quality and variety of their products. The produce is always fresh and well-stocked, and they have a wide selection of organic and locally sourced items, which I really appreciate.
The store is clean and organized, making it easy to find everything I need. The staff are friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any questions or special requests. I also love that they offer a range of international products, which allows me to explore new cuisines and flavors.
The prices are reasonable, and they frequently have great deals and discounts. Whether you're doing your weekly shopping or just stopping in for...
Read moreDecided to stop in and try this restaurant for a quick lunch yesterday. It was a little hard to order unless you really know all the food - the only menu in the place is electronic, changes pages frequently, and doesn't contain any description of the items. Some laminated paper menus with more description (like the online menu) would be really useful, even if one had to rely on the electronic menu for pricing.
We ordered a Veg Frankie, a Chana Bhature, and the Samosa & Special Masala Chai combo.
The samosas were ok - nothing special, but reasonably priced. The "Special Masala Chai" was excellent, but on the small side for the price.
The Veg Frankie was quite spicy and tasty, would definitely order again.
The Chana Bhature was a surprisingly large meal - there was not one but two large bhature, a good serving of chana, and some spiced onion. As with the Veg Frankie, would definitely order again.
We were stuffed at the end of this meal, but decided to get an order of Hakka noodles to take home for the kids. I'd say this was the most disappointing in terms of taste and value.
We'll definitely return to try other menu items, next time using the online menu to figure out what we...
