Springroll House Restaurant — Restaurant in Ottawa

Came here for lunch and got an order of pork spring rolls, V1 (Vermicelli with pork & spring rolls), and a Vietnamese iced coffee with condensed milk.

The pork spring rolls had great flavor and came out super hot & fresh. The flavor on the pork in the V1 was great, and a generous portion size for the price. Though, the pork chop it looked like they tried to cut it, but didn't cut all the way through, which made it a bit of a challenge to eat with just chop sticks; usually for these dishes it's already cut for you, or they provide a knife and fork.

The iced coffee was great, but it came out after the meal which wasn't ideal, so getting that earlier would have been nice. But they did brew it in the kitchen so we didn't have to wait for it to brew at the table.

This is hands down the best Vietnamese restaurant in Ottawa—and the only one I go to. Their V3 vermicelli with beef and pork spring rolls is my all-time favourite. My wife’s go-to is the C3 grilled pork chop with rice, which she absolutely loves. The portions are generous, and the food is consistently delicious.

The owners, a lovely Vietnamese couple, make the experience even better. The husband is the chef in the kitchen, and the wife runs the front of house. They are some of the most genuine, kind-hearted people I’ve met. Their warmth and hospitality keep us coming back, along with the incredible food.

Pho is my ultimate favorite so unfortunately I am very picky about Pho. Ottawa, so called "pho capital", has many great pho restaurants, and I've been to almost all of them. This place is easily number 1 in Ottawa. This place AMAZED me on every aspect. The quality of their meat is topnotch, which naturally makes their broth topnotch as well. Very tender, high quality brisket. Amazingly well balanced broth which is both richly flavourful and clean. Their Sate(Chilli oil) was homemade and it was the best I have tasted so far.
