I ordered food and cancelled the order at the same time because I wanted it at my place of study and I was afraid that they would deliver it to my place of residence, so they took my money and the food was an order for all my friends and brothers. It was a celebration because we got grades in the study of more than 80%. I was the first in my life. They took my joy and my money. I will not let you. I will write my story wherever I am until you return my money. Now I am waiting for you, but you forgot about the matter. Give me my money. My brothers, stay away from this restaurant. Read moreFor a variety of reasons, I always request a receipt for any purchase I make. Yesterday, when I was making a purchase via the drive-thru and asked for a receipt, after waiting some 3 to 5 minutes (I'm not certain, as I wasn't timing the wait), I was told that I would have to wait a bit longer as they were experiencing printer problems. After another couple minutes, I was asked to park across from the restaurant and wait for my receipt. Despite their promise to bring it out as soon as the receipt was ready, I declined their request. I was concerned that I would be forgotten and end up waiting a long time. Instead, I chose to continue to wait at the drive-thru window
Then, after a discussion about possibly getting a hand-written receipt, they "magically" produced my printed receipt in less than a minute
Despite all that, I returned again today and was told yet again that their printer was not working. Today, they offered to give me a written receipt right off the bat. And I received it in less than 90 seconds. The receipt, however, was TWO slips of paper. The first (written) simply stated the amount of my purchase (before tax), the tax charged and the total receipt amount. There was NO OTHER information on this "receipt". The second slip was someone else's PRINTED receipt - the point of it being so that I had the date & time (of the purchase) and the identification of the restaurant
BUT, if they could print someone else's receipt, why couldn't they print mine? And, given the importance of printers capable of printing receipts for a restaurant, why is this still a problem after TWO DAYS (or possibly more)? Finally, we all know that fast-food restaurants have multiple cash registers. Couldn't my receipt been printed at one of these other registers (as this stranger's receipt that I was handed was printed)?

The restaurant is clean and well taken care of. The layout is the corporate standard layout, so if you've been to any other Wendy's (or most any fast food restaurant), you'll have no trouble navigating this location. We had a really disappointing experience at the Wendy’s drive-thru in Barrhaven. When we arrived at the order prompt, we waited for several minutes, but no one responded. We assumed there was an issue, so we moved forward to the window. Even there, we waited for over a minute before an employee finally acknowledged us.
When we asked why no one had taken our order, his response was, “I was busy with another customer.” That would have been understandable if he had at least informed us. The basic courtesy in a drive-thru is to say something like, “Just a moment, I’m helping another customer.” Instead, he left us waiting with no communication.
We placed a simple order for nuggets, which should come with a dip. However, after leaving, we realized they hadn’t given us one. When we returned to ask for it, the staff member responded in an extremely rude and dismissive manner, saying, “What dip do you want?” with no apology.
When we asked what options were available, he listed a few, and we requested Jalapeño Ranch. Instead of telling us they didn’t have it, he went inside and returned with Ghost Pepper Ranch—without asking if we were okay with the substitution. If he had simply informed us that Jalapeño Ranch wasn’t available, we could have chosen something else.
When we questioned his attitude, his response was, “What do you want, sir? Do you want it or not?” before slamming the window shut in our faces.
This kind of customer service is unacceptable. There was no communication, no professionalism, and absolutely no courtesy. We’re attaching a picture of the employee who served us so management can identify and address this issue. Wendy’s needs...
