Xtreme Pizza — Restaurant in Ottawa

I went to this restautant because I was craving a nice donair. After waiting 5 minutes for the Hells Angels to drive by, I made my way into this make shift restaurant after seeing their giant add that displayed donairs for $5.99 (which is a little more pricey then average) but whatever. Thursday, payday. Despite the homeless man with his pants down screaming at the top of his lungs in the middle of the street and ally of debris next to Xtreme Pizza. I still went in for a quick bite. The place inside was nice enough, despite the greasy and dirty tabletops and counters i didnt want to judge a book by its cover...or inside. The guy in charge wasnt very friendly. There was another guy in the back with the window wide open allowing flies to come into the place. As he scooped the meat he let it fall onto tbe counter and picked it up with his dirty bare hands. I looked around and all the pizzas were black/burnt, good thing i wasnt ordering that. Not only was the donair more than advertised outside, but the meat was extra greasy and made me sick instantly. Used to order Xtreme once or twice a month, our favorite, Canadian Style pizza in the city. Not sure whats been happening, but felt obliged to leave a review. Last 2 months we ordered 3 times, all three times we got the wrong order, wrong size, wrong toppings , thin burnt cheese and what feels like the 2 for 1 style pizza, you know, 90% Crust 10 % toppings that tastes like it has been sitting around 3 hours (but paid 60bucks for 2 pizzas). We have ordered large and got a medium, pep and cheese for kids and had olives on it. Sadly, we decided to stop ordering as of today when we got the wrong order, again. Ordered 2 large, got 2 medium. Ordered thin crust, got 1inch or more crust. Ordered x-cheese with pep for the kids, got thin cheese with pep and olives....weird. Fortunately Skip the Dishes refunded us tonight. See other reviews, its pretty common to get the wrong order.

Good food, very reasonably priced and generously-sized portions. If you order a large salad the portion is actually more on the order of enormous! Usually salads at pizza joints are little more than a pile of wan iceberg lettuce that someone waved a few shavings of onion and green pepper over but they didn't stint on the toppings with the greek salad, including (but not limited to!) a sizeable amount of crumbled feta and a ton of sliced black olives - easily enough to feed 2 people a meal or feed a family of 4 for sides. Large portion of tasty dressing. I order with my brother and we always end up with leftovers when we order from Xtreme. I can't pizza anymore but my bro and BF adore their pizzas. They have some cool specials and the chicken wings are top notch, they do not stint on the wing...
