Tim Hortons — Restaurant in Owen Sound

This place has become a joke. I live locally and used to stop in and grab a coffee on the way to work. I now have decided to make coffee at work because this place can start my day so poorly.

The lineup can be awful but the worst part is the change in staff. The new people they hire are ridiculous. This doesn't seem to be an isolated incident. When I order a simple coffee, the new staff looks at my like I am insulting them by making them grab me a coffee. To make matters worse, they appear to wander to the coffee machine to pour the coffee. That's if they haven't asked a few times because they couldn't understand what I have said.

To be honest, if the owners don't care about the customer service and the quality of who they hire, why should I care about spending my money there.

There are so many people in Owen Sound looking for a job. Many with great outgoing personalities. Why they would choose these particular employees is insulting to me as a customer and to the many job seekers who could do a much better job. The owners should be ashamed.

Came to this location while I was working to use the washroom and get myself a warm drink. There was one person in front of me in line and I still waited probably 20 minutes. I have never seen a customer service representative full lacking any sense of ambition to work. She slowly walked to where the cookies were, slowly put the cookies in the bag, slowly put the stuff away, slowly walk back to the counter to hand the guy in front of me his cookies. Once the customer in front of me walked out, she proceeds to take a receipt out of the till, presumably an online order, and I watched her prepare one hot beverage and take it to the mobile counter and before she came back to serve me another 10 minutes had gone by. I am hoping she was just having a bad day, or maybe wasn’t feeling the best and this isn’t how she is every day, but because of this my review has to be 1 star.

The cleanliness of the place was great and the food was great (I only got a cookie, since the hot chocolate machine was apparently not working) the service…. Could be...

Just went through the drive through and ordered myself a medium black coffee. The Skinny girl with glasses that always works the drive through has an attitude problem. Doesn't know how to greet people at the window, and doesn't ask for the points card.

I gave her $2.00 for the coffee and everything I get her she always tries to keep the change. I refuse to move until I get my change.

Finally today I told her she shouldn't keep people's money and she gave me the dirtiest look.

I don't care about the money, infact I will usually let them keep the change as a tip but since she assumes she can keep it, i will want it back.

You really need to retrain that employee because...
