Northern Perk Inc. — Restaurant in Parry Sound

UPDATE: The owners have reached out to remedy the situation, which I really appreciate. I don’t live in the area, but based on other reviews, this does seem like a great place to eat (which initially drew us in). While my experience with the two staff members working on July 27 still stands, I do appreciate the owners' willingness to improve, this speaks volumes about the level of service they aim to provide.

—————————————- The two girls working were shockingly rude and couldn’t handle a simple matcha order. Despite clearly stating a dairy allergy, they added regular milk. They also forgot the syrup we requested and didn’t even bother to whisk the matcha properly, leaving large clumps floating in the drink. I’m sure the owners are great, but i would consider rethink ing the two staff members who were working today (July 27). Totally...

I had high hopes for this quaint little coffee spot, given its charming atmosphere and friendly staff. Unfortunately, the coffee itself was a bit of a letdown - it lacked the rich, robust flavor I was looking forward to. While the ambiance is cozy, I think the coffee recipes could use some tweaking to match the overall vibe of the place. Hopefully, they can make some adjustments, because I do like the location, even though only 2 people can comfortable fit in there.

We paid $20 for 2 coffees and a cookie (also a let down).

Stick to Starbucks if you're looking for quality coffee. It's on the otherside of town and way more accessible than this place.

Had hot coffee and a Chilean cookie here and sat by the water then went to play with the public xylophone. We both had Americanos which were piping hot and tasted great. A beautiful reprieve on a long journey. Staff were friendly and helpful. I really wish I had more time to spend in Perry Sound. This was a peak of happiness and you owe it to yourself on a long haul through Ontario to give yourself some peace of mind, and you will find that here. So beautiful.
