Wendy's — Restaurant in Penticton

Just went into this Wendy's with my children. We all used the bathroom as we've been on the road for quite a few hrs. I didnt even make it out of the bathroom and my wife tells me she was approached by an extremely rude lady working at this location. The lady first rudely spoke to my children who were simply looking at the menu telling them to go sit down, my wife overheard this and called the children back. Then the lady approaches my wife to insist that she control her children!!! My wife obviously replied by telling the lady that she was very incorrect in her observations. The lady insisted again that they were out of control. I know when my kids are out of control and believe me, they would too. But no, my kids were being so well behaved at this time. The lady continued to stare at our family which made me very uncomfortable. I had to say upon leaving, "what are you staring at?" she replied "what's your problem" I then said "obviously you" she replied "obviously you"??? That right there creeped me out even more. We have ten children and have been to countless restaurants and fast food chains. We have never in 15 years been treated like this............. Ever!!! That lady should be absolutely ashamed with herself. And the store manager should also step up and keep his/her employees in line. She single handily lost 12 customers and $100 in less...

Wendy's recently announced a breakfast menu. Breakfast menus jave been available from McDonald,s, A&W and other competitors for uears and years. Wendy's, a terribly run chain and struggling against vastly better run companies has an exyremely disappointing breakfast menu. Soft, non-buttery buns 6hey call croissants. Their spiced potatos are diabolical. They would be a disaster on a lunch or dinner menu, but for breakfast? Absolitely disgustingly inappropriate. I much prefer hash brown patties withouth the mystery spices that are bitter and awful tasting. I ordered a bacon and egg and cheese croissant. I received a sausage and egg and cheese croissant. After one spiced potato slice, I returned them and asked for french fries. Not something I would ever normally order for breakfast, but at least they tasted hugely better than their spicy potatoes. I will never have breakfast again at Wendy's. I will probably never visit a Wendy's ever again. While McDonald's and A&W do really good breakfast business, this Wendy's (in Penticton) had one other...

Someone working the drive thru window today (Ahmed I believe the name tag said?) unsure if he was a manager or owner or what, but oh my gosh did he treat the staff there terribly. Barking orders, rudely demanding they speed up, screaming into the drive thru ordering system so loud I could hardly make out a word said... very hyperfocused on barking to the employees "we have a full drive thru" and complaining about their "work efforts" shouting at them repeatedly to "work faster"... I can't believe he would treat employees like that in front of a customer with no shame. Making sure he apologised to me for how "slow my food was"... I can't even imagine what it's like when no ones around to see. I feel bad for the employees there. They all look miserable every time I go in. Now I see why. NEVER would I recommend somebody apply there after what I've seen.

To whoever made my food: It was perfect and sent out to me in a timely manner. I didnt wait long. I have zero complaints, it was perfect.

And to management: DO BETTER AND TREAT YOUR EMPLOYEES...
