Excellent pies, however.. i was questioned about my service dog (who was clearly wearing his vest and ID tags.) Which was embarrassing to say the least. Bill 80! Shouldn't have to be said these days, i suggest some employee training on interaction with customers with exceptionalities. I did not see the sign that states that service animals are allowed, however I feel a lack of understanding how unnecessary it is to question someone with a service animal. I've even been in before with Borris and had no issues. Its like questioning someone based on what you think you know about them, which as a total stranger, is zero. I've been a repeat customer at Perth pie co and have only preached about your epic pies to all of my buds. This latest experience did leave me feeling hurt and embarrassed that I had to explain my dog is with me as I have a disability. This is the part that really sours it for me. We literally drove all the way from Ottawa to get pie, and judgement. :( I literally don't even want...
Read moreAmazing local bakery specizing in AMAZING handmade pies from scratch. Staff are very welcoming in a genuine way to everyone whether you're a tourist or a local, extremely knowledgeable about their products (knowing ingredients to answer questions about allergies as well as the process of making their pies from start to finish) Make sure you get there early to get the Pie / baked goods you want because they sell out quick and are ALWAYS freshly made and the final product is of impeccable quality and more than the sum of their finely specified ingredients. Also the shop has a very hip but approachable esthetic and semi-industrial vibes going on with a very young and motivated, energetic feel to it. Would highly reccomend this place for a quick sweet treat and coffee while out shopping or to grab a whole pie for dessert for either a regular Tuesday night dessert for the family or it would be suitable for one of the multiple desserts of a fancy, multi-course dinner at a fancy dinner...

April 2, 2025: 1st visit 5/5 stars The Strawberry Rhubarb Pie slice had a good combo of sweetness and tartness. As well, the pie crust was delicious. Overall, a very good Strawberry Rhubarb Pie. Definitely would come back to try the other baked pie flavours (see picture).
The Oatmeal Raisin Cookie was soft, crunchy and not too sweet. Overall, a good Oatmeal Raisin Cookie.
April 4, 2025: 2nd visit 5/5 stars The Bumbleberry pie which had apples, rhubarb, blackberries, raspberries, and peaches was awesome. The mix of fruits in the Bumbleberry pie worked well together to give a good amount of tartness and sweetness. The pie crust was delicious.
The Wild Blueberry pie was awesome as well. Would definitely recommend both the Bumbleberry and Wild...
