Cafe Hideaway — Restaurant in Perth

All day breakfast! Small place, could use a busser or host, decent food.

Seems like a place where regulars like to “hang out” and there is only about 10 tables inside and two tables on the patio.

The service was a little slow, as there was only one server - who was nice and I understand she can handle the whole place, but I witnessed a few people trying to flag her down, and many tables dirty. The place could definitely use a second server on the weekend, or at the very least a busser or host that would seat people and clear/set tables, maybe even refill coffees.

Food was all good. Kids menu states (2) pieces of French toast, but it is really just ONE slice of bread cut in half. Potatoes were a little undercooked but good flavour.

Huge plus: BIGGEST coffee cups I’ve ever had at a breakfast place.

We ate breakfast. Pretty hard to screw that up. They cooked our eggs properly. Only downside is the delivery for the homefries hadn't arrived so we had to eat regular fries instead & they were frozen. Didn't like the coffee & the cups were really small but includes 1 refill. Not one other guest in the restaurant so they were not busy and yet every single thing except the coffee was awful. The home fries were so burnt my husband and I couldn't believe they served them, the toast tasted burnt but was not and the eggs, bacon and ham were literally swimming in grease.
