Arby's — Restaurant in Peterborough

My sponsor used to feed us curly fries when we were at their place the first summer being in Canada. That was my first exposure to Canadian food, precious memories learning about different foods and I treasure those great memories. I used to take my kids out to Arby's in Mississauga every week.

We moved to Hastings and Peterborough still has an Arby's. We dropped in after a family's night out at the movie on Tue. I picked Arby's over all eatery in Peterborough.

When I walked in the place was clean, greeted by Meagan. I ordered the #1 combo with a poutine, #5 combo with a poutine, 2 beef and cheddar sandwiches, a curly fries and a drink. Meagan entered 3 combos and a sandwich and saved me some money. She was very very sweet about it, super courteous. I stood at the counter watched how incredible the team work, one were gathering up the sandwiches for us, Meagan prepared the 2 poutines and ther other server thanked me for waiting for our food.

We ate at this Arby’s tonight. We were greeted by a lovely young lady who took our order - I wish I had caught her name - very kind and a big welcoming smile. When we got our food, I took our fries back up to the counter - we don’t eat fries too often so we like them right out of the fryer - a very sweet girl named Famke made us new fries and brought them right to us with a big smile - she is a real sweetheart and I hope she’s recognized as being a great ambassador for the Arby’s brand. This store is extremely well run. We don’t go often, but anytime we do, the service is always excellent. And, this location is always super clean - a huge selling point for us - so many restaurants are not well kept anymore. Have never been to an Arby's in my life. Ordered 2 beef n cheddars and curly fries. Had 2 senior women ahead of me who seemed confused and upset as they ordered. The person running the cash, her name is MacKenzie. was patient, explained the menu to them. And when the elderly ladies got a bit frustrated and grumpy and were rude to her, she handled herself with respect and restraint to them. Their order took longer than any other fast food line I've been in before, because they were confused or not listening, so the person on drive through took my order to keep the flow moving.
