barBURRITO — Restaurant in Peterborough

I've had an overall positive experience from these guys. I ordered an extra steak burrito, and a steak quesadilla. Given that I ordered after dinner rush they didn't have enough steak to do both the quesadilla and the burrito, so I opted for a ground beef burrito instead.

The quesadilla was honestly really delicious, and my gf finished it super fast, no complaints. The ingredients were all quite flavourful and it all came together really nicely.

The burrito unfortunately wasn't as positive an experience.I wouldnt reccomended putting rice and beans in your burrito if you're coming here, they will probably overwhelm your burrito with it. I found that even with ordering extra meat, the burrito was a little less than a third ground beef(which made my inner carnivore shed a tear)

That being said I'm giving barBURRITO 5 stars for their professionalism and friendly hospitable service. They had no problems refunding my burrito when I mentioned I wasn't satisfied with my product, and the person who I talked to on the phone initially was kind and professional. I truly believe it may have just been an off day for them given how tasty some of the things we bought were. Won't know for sure until we try it again so I'll be back again soon!

Overall...

I recently ordered a BEAN and cheese quesidillas for take-out. When I arrived home the quesidillas contained NO beans! I called to explain the situation and the girl that I spoke to was extremely rude and unapologetic. She said that I did not indicate that I wanted beans on the quesidillas. I explained that when I ordered a BEAN and cheese quesidillas that I assumed that there would be beans on the quesidillas. She told me that I had to select the beans (which there was no option to select). She basically said that there was nothing that she could do but offer a discount on a future order. When I suggested that a replacement quesidillas would be appropriate, she said that this is not how they handle these situations. I asked to speak to a manager and she said she was the manager and that her family owned the business... as if this empowered her to be rude! As there are many burrito places in town to choose from, I will never consider ordering from Bar Burrito again and I will be sure to share my experience with others. This situation could have been dealt positively with a simple apology for the error and a customer...

I have been to this location a few times and found that the online ordering is usually good and the food also Very good. However recently I ordered a veggie burrito bowl and when I arrived was informed.that there.was no veggie ground and that I could.substitute another option. I asked.for.chicken andwas told that there was also no chicken and chose pulled pork bowl instead . My wife and I both split the bowl and both of us have not felt well especially my wife who has been sick now for 3 days. We had this as an evening meal and the next day for some.reason both of us.have not felt well...mainly stomach related.issues...more for my wife than me. Normally I would not.say anything but it seems odd that both of us were.affected and we have not been anywhere.else.. I hope that they have extra health guidelines in place especially since they serve meats like.pork, beef and chicken. .all require proper handling and cooking. I'm.not sure.if.i would return based on this...
