Bulk Barn — Restaurant in Peterborough

I am going to make this Bulk Barn a permanent stop when I go to get groceries. Not only because of their wide variety of snacks, treats, spices, nuts, baking supplies and more that they have, but ultimately because the girl who helped us and checked us out was incredible. Her name is Brooke and she blew us away by being able to tell what each bag contained just by the feel of it. For example, she knew the difference between sweetened and unsweetened shaved coconut (they look identical). My mom and I were very impressed and Brooke was also very sweet, helpful, and I knowledgeable about all the goods that Bulk Barn has to offer. During the quarantine, every establishment handles things a little differently. This store offered hand sanitizer and gloves at the front door, had carts available to encourage physical distancing, and staff to assist all customers.

The staff is the big thing here. The team was friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. I didn't catch any names, but the crew working at 4pm on Sunday, April 5 were outstanding. From greeting us when we entered, thru their containment procedures, to assisting us with our purchase, to checking us thru efficiently, this was a fantastic experience under most challenging circumstances, yet we saw nothing but smiling faces. I was walking in the door and the lady at the cash register yelled at me to user sanitizer and I explained to her that I was allergic to it and she said I don't care if you use your own sanitizer use our sanitizer I told her three times and she kept on telling me that use theirs these were all stores nowadays have to realize that some people might not be able to use his hands either cuz they're allergic to things and now that they are doing this they could be really fine or in big trouble I don't usually complain about things but when people do things like this I have to write a report so people out there realize so they don't get their self in trouble like I just did and just act like I...
