Here's an update, May 2022 After living near Lansdowne st. Ptbo dominos for years I moved away 3 years ago and have ordered from 2 diff locations since. First is in Courtice which I've placed 10 orders and the second is the Lindsay location which I've placed 25 orders.
Courtice was standard, orders were accurate 80 percent of the time and pizza was standard.
Lindsay was Standard, Orders were accurate 90 percent of the time, and pizza was pretty standard. Order accuracy was better than Courtice but the quality of the pizza wasn't as good in terms of consistency. Sometimes the pizza is lacking sauce, Sometimes the pizza doesn't have much cheese, Sometimes the pizza is undercooked even when well done is selected.
Now for the Lansdowne st location near the Home depot in Peterborough. Absolutely the best Dominos I've ever ordered from and I've placed well over 125 orders easily. Order accuracy was 97 percent and pizza was made with consistent quality and to specifications. Well done was always well done, extra sauce was extra but not too much it's soggy, and cheese was always the specified amount, even the times I ordered double cheddar.
I'm convinced the difference In satisfaction and quality was due to the staff taking an interest in their clients, learning how they like their pizza, and making it exactly how they/I prefer their/my pizza. There have been some really good staff members at this location, One guy (sadly I can't recall his name) was there for a year or so but left to work at or manage a new location in Ptbo. Now for the best employee to ever work at Dominos, Ive never experienced this level of service or satisfaction from any franchise in my life. She took interest in her customers and learned exactly how they wanted their pizzas made. A touch extra of sauce, a touch less, entire pie well done or just the cheese well done, 4 toppings per side, diff sauce, square cut, made for a specific time, didn't matter, she always delivered excellent results and taught coworkers how to do the same. It didn't matter how complicated or big my order was, she always made it perfectly. I wasn't going to mention her name but I think it's important the boss, owner, and head office understand how lucky they are to have or to have had Jazz working for them.
With all the negatives, (and I only mention them to help others decide where to go and so businesses are aware and can improve) Every location that I've made aware of an order discrepancy has handled the situation perfectly. Sincerely Jim Lastname
(Original review 2019) This place is very very good, especially considering a semi fast employee turn over rate... The best service and food quality is provided on Thursday Friday and Saturday afternoon/evening through close. I would provide the names of the best employees, but for privacy reasons I won't... I'll just say, every order always leaves me feeling jazzed...
Read moreI had a bad experience in one store where I discovered Google and their "near me" algo tricked me into ordering at the wrong location on their website.
Then, the payment processor rejected two cards that for some reason appeared to debit the amount of my order anyhow and put the order through.
Getting to the store I intended to have my order ready at, I was told to go across the city to the location that had my lukewarm pizza ready, which amounted to a two hour bus ride (wait time included).
Getting to the location where my pizza was, I was informed the first store should have made my order for me. I also had to pay for what I thought was a third time for the pizza. The kind manager assured me my cards hadnt been charged, gave me a two liter bottle of soda, and later escalated the issue to the big boss.
He immediately sent me a long email professionally eluding to how angry he was at the service and treatment I'd received, and is apparently mailing me a coupon for a meal of the same value.
However, the aggravation, cold pizza when I arrived home, and worry over the payment issues are just too much. I've also had another annoying experience at Store #1 that's just to silly to detail.
The manager at the store that made my pizza and, I assume, the Area Manager's shockingly quick response are the only reason I can offer the rating I have.
The whole time all I could think was about what if there was a major rain or snow storm and I'm standing at a bus stop twice travelling to and from just to get two cold pizzas home to my friends and I.
Had I paid Doordash's fees to deliver a pizza less than a kilometer to my house, I wouldn't have had any issues, but I was literally a stone's throw from store #1.
Been a long time since I've experienced this level of annoyance...

Consistently skimp on topping, I guess they make an error sometimes and make the pizza proper once in a while
Definitely not worth the price even at half off... Keep in mind the pizza I otdered would be $50+ without any discounts or tax or delivery... yet I can get a much better pizza from little caesars for $20
I severely doubt they measure ingredients like they say (I think for sure they lied to me)
What I ordered: extra cheese 2x pepperoni AND Brooklyn pepperoni, 2x sausage, mushroom, bacon, steak...
What I got: cheese, 1.5x pepperoni, 0.5 Brooklyn pepperoni, sausage, mushroom, 5 pieces of bacon, 1 steak...
Another small pizza was supposed to be double cheese and it was the same amount of cheese as the other small that is a normal cheese
I called the store and they refused to fix the issue or replace the pizza (too late now to replace the pizza, until they do something to remedy it, I'm not going to buy from there again, because I don't like getting ripped off
Edit: after more than a month, I am now sure they don't care about their customers
Turns out the owner is the one that made the terrible pizza and is the one I was talking to at the time (not saying name but I know him...
