Wonderful venue, spacious and clean, well lit. Friendly staff. Wide selection of vegetarian curries and Indian cuisine! Huge selection of freshly made sweets as well. Honestly if I wasn't allergic to nuts I would've want to try them all! Samosa 5/5 - perfectly fried exterior, not oily and freshly made, good thickness of the coating - good amount of peas, potatoes and veggies. Well seasoned, not overpowering! - sauces were a delight. well balanced and perfectly paired for the samosa Dahi Bhalla 4.5/5 - so refreshing! I didn't think I would love this but it was jam packed with flavour - mixture of sweet from the chutney and sour spiciness from the yogurt, deliciously balanced - the vadas were nice and crispy, providing another textural component - black gram dumpling was interesting, a little off for my liking in texture but did add another dimension to the dish - loved the pomegranate pop! Samosa Chaat 4.5/5 - samosa and chaat together, was well balanced, generous portion, nicely spiced and well balanced dish Naan 5/5 - simply delicious! Soft and fluffy - the flavours inside were surprising, didn't think of a 'stuffed' Naan! burst of savoury cheesy notes and Indian spice blend, honestly feels like I've flown to that side of the world Poori 5/5 - first time trying this and it was light and crispy! - was told it'll be oily, and while my fingers were covered, the item itself was actually not oily to the mouth. Went well with the semolina! Mango lassi 5/5 - mango and yogurt, nice sweet tang, good consistency, like a dessert drink as always The other dishes I had was shared amongst the group I was with. Saag was nice but nothing too special, and the cauliflower pakora was well battered and fried. I also had the one with the paneer and spinach fried pakora? interesting take but unsure if u liked it, a little salty with the paneer lol. overall would recommend the place! Went with a group of friends that were familiar with the cuisine and they raved about it too so you know it's good! Thanks for the amazing meal!

I’ve tried Rajdhani Sweets a few times before at different locations in GTA and never really liked their food. That’s because the food there including snacks and curries simply lack the authentic taste that one can find at some of the good Indian restaurants serving the same type of dishes. Either their curries are sweeter when they should not be or are missing the required spices and texture. From the attached photos, the food may appear very tempting but in reality, they don’t taste as one would expect. One can make better vegetarian dishes at home compared to them. I recently ordered a few appetizers - Gobhi Pakora, Paneer Pakora & Samosas along with Jalebi (Dessert). The Gobhi Pakora tasted good but the Paneer Pakora was below average. The size of the pakora was bigger than normal size and the paneer inside it was hard and not soft. Also, the filling inside tasted a bit odd. The Samosas were fine except that the potato filling was almost bland. Taking about the Jalebi, it wasn’t crisp and had less than required sugar. It wasn’t well made. The restaurant has a decent ambience and seems to attract a lot of people due to their popularity over the years but honestly, their quality isn’t of the highest level. Their pricing is also higher for the quantity that they provide.

Great North Indian street food in Pickering. If you are craving vegetarian Indian food, chaat or Indian sweets this is the place to go in pickering. Not too many places offer tasty food at affordable prices but this place does. I understand it’s a chain and glad it came to this area. They offer take out and sit down. We did sit down service was ok. Menu had lots of items to choose from. The drinks we wanted were not available but tried the mango lassi and chai and they were great. The Chana bhatura was good the bhatura was massive! Samosa chaat was great and we ordered a platter of snacks my only complaint is the platter came after we ate everything. Serving size is huge so you can definitely share with a group. We ordered 2 mains and platter of snacks and it was basically enough for 5-6 people so definitely a deal. Will definitely go back again!

they hurriedly packed without my presence while i was at the counter trying to make payment. this took longer than usual as they had an internet issue. meanwhile, the lady hurriedly just packed the takeout container with this extreme oil, butter, margerine, whatever. beware of this health spolier place, v.unhealthy food served. somasa is fried multiple times and is v.oily. they are even spolied at various intervals. the bhaji just filled with butter or margerine almost a little less than half the container, when drained reaching home. it is a night mare to even look at it. ridiculous. this place need to be punished for serving this extreme chlolesterol food. SAVE HEALTH, AVOID PICKERING RAJDHANI. day by day tha quality and quantity is detoriating.

Happened to be in the area and decided to check this place out. Don’t expect any greetings or exchanging of pleasantries, got right to business and placed an order for takeout. Got a Veg Thaali, 0.5lb of a cashew based sweet and Paani poori. The Veg curries were mediocre, the sweets were good and Pani Poori was good but very spicy. Since the curries are prepared before hand, we thought the order should be ready pretty quick but it took almost 25 minutes for items are supposedly ready to go. Saw an old guy (seemed to be the owner but I could be wrong) talking quite rudely to the servers. The servers did seem pretty nice and patient though, hence the 3 stars overall. Doubt we would be going back here anytime soon.

When there's a wedding in the family, it is all hands on deck to ensure that all the wedding guests are comfortable with the services, and more importantly, the food provided. Despite a few guests (including myself) having a dietary restriction surrounding root vegetables, the staff at Rajdhani ensured that we were catered for. Serving us a plate with buttery lachha paratha, along with 2 sabzis, the Jain meal was utterly delightful! The flavor of the spices seeped through every bite of the paneer sabzi, while the dal makhani had a creamy, velvety texture that was utterly filling! Warmly recommended!
