Absolutely disgusted in the customer service for this so called business. Placed an order online at 1pm. Website stated it would be ready in 40 mins. Arrived at 1:45pm to an empty store. Stood there for five minutes, a worker comes in from his smoke break and helps me at the front to get my pick up. (Keeping in mind I have a 30 minute lunch, left the office at 1:35pm to pick up and get there for 1:45pm). Front staff can’t find my meal anywhere. He spends time looking for it and then calls another worker on the phone. Comes back to me and says he will make it now and it will be ready in five. At this point my break is up and I need to get back to the office and don’t have five minutes to spare, unless they wanted to call my boss and explain why I’m late. I just wanted my refund and oh boy was that a disaster. Between being shushhhhed multiple times by the manager, yelled at, disrespected and told I can’t get a refund and that I need to go to the company……. The owner at one point actually walked away mid conversation about the refund and left me and the worker there. Now I have heard some bad reviews about this place but really really enjoy the food so ignored the negative reviews I heard about and read about regarding respect and customer service. Boy was that a mistake. Stay clear from this place unless you wanna be disrespected, yelled at, talked to like an idiot, shushed, called mommmmmaa ten times, walked away on by the owner. Honestly still kinda shaking from the experience. Like whatttt just happened. I didn’t have time to wait for the food to be made after already 45 minutes. Not a place I will ever being going back to. The employee was amazing felt bad for him but the owner will never receive my money again or my coworkers, or my partner and tbh my family will no longer be going there either. Was told 15 minutes on the phone. Got there in 17 minutes and they had not started cooking it yet but I could see it being made. No other people in the restaurant except one person who seemed to be a friend of the worker.
2 Employees, one was chatting at the take out counter, one was making pizza. Neither greeted me until I had walked right by them and been standing at the cash for some time. No hello or even asking me my order. Just stood there chatting ignoring me.
I paid and the machine prompted 10%/15% and I believe 20% (May have been 18%).
Walked out of there 30 minutes after ordering and 15 minutes after it was supposed to be done.
We had ordered a shareable New Yorker pizza and 1 garlic dip.
Got it home in under 6 minutes and went to eat right away, only to find out the pizza dough was mostly raw and the slices were just a big floppy uncut mess.
Understanding this type of thing happens I called back to let them know and was told by the gentleman on the phone “I didn’t take that one out of the oven”. I told him I understand that but somebody did and it’s not cooked… at all.
After he put me on hold for a second he came back and said “I asked the other guy and he said it was cooked well” I said “ok thank you very much” and he said “bye” and firmly hung up the phone.
I’ll include photos of the pizza and the 1/3 filled dip cup that was $0.99.
I’m not going to review the pizza itself because the photos speak for themselves but due to the customer service alone I would never come back.

Read moreHey everyone. I just wanted to give you guys a heads up. Tonight we decided to grab a couple of pizzas for dinner from Vis-à-Vis on Kingston Rd. I have been going to this place for years and have built up what I thought was a good rapport with the staff there. As my wife and kids were finishing up their slices, my wife felt something sharp in her mouth. It was a sharp and jagged piece of metal in the slice of pizza she was eating. Razor sharp and solid. Shocked and very upset by this I decided to drive back to Vis-a-Vis to find out how this happened and where it came from. I was afraid of the possibility that there could have been more metal shards and shavings in the pizza we had already eaten. When I explained this to the staff I was extremely disappointed by their reaction and how they handled this information. At first I encountered blank stares and empty responses such as “whoops I’m sorry” to the owner telling me “Ahh thanks for reminding me!” To which I said “Reminding you??” He told me that the oven was old and he needed to get a new one but hasn’t which sounded ridiculous to me. I kept asking them to look around and see how this could’ve happened but they didn’t bother. Not only did they not do this but they showed no real concern whatsoever. The owner then tried to pocket the shard but I ensured that he give it back to me. I needed to have it incase that in the worst case scenario we did ingest more of these sharp objects that we would at least know what it was.
