Pita Pit — Restaurant in Pickering

My name is Lisa and I work for the medical offices in the plaza where Pita Pit is located. Our staff have been buying lunches from Pita Pit for over a year. We have a pre-typed paper with each staff members pita order on it. It includes specific toppings and sauces. There was never an issue until recently. We went down for our usual Saturday order and passed the lady the sheet with our printed orders. Again, detailed with exactly what we wanted in our pitas. For the first time my pita was made with mushrooms which was not indicated on the order sheet. I cannot eat mushrooms. I pleasantly returned the pita with the sheet asking them to re-make it because they made a mistake. The lady would not re-make it for me. She stated she would get in trouble from her boss, so I asked her to call her boss. She then proceeded to tell her boss over the phone that she made no mistake and her boss said to not re-make my pita. She said she would only re-make it if paid for a new one. I ended up leaving the pita there, hungry and with no lunch that day after it was paid for. The WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!! I have since gone in several times to speak with the owner directly and she is never there. I even left my phone number, but no call back. They have lost the business of our office and my family for good. My family has been in the restaurant business for years and we would NEVER treat a customer like this. My wife and I really love Pita Pit for the food they provide. We've been to the location on Kennedy Rd, and it was great, even when they were busy. For this locations review, I've been really disappointed. This was the 2nd time we've ordered from UberEats and it was both disappointing. 1st time we ordered 2 of the same pitas and only received 1. When I called the location they said no one came to pick up as yet. When I told them I already half my order they said that the other pita was still there. Anyway I couldn't drive over to get it so I requested a refund for that 1 pita. We figured we'll try them again last night. What a mistake. 2 pitas arrived this time, with a note saying that the pitas were too full to put the sauces we wanted. So the put the sauces on the side. I thought that was strange and didn't understand how I was going to eat the pita as it was toasted and wrapped up. Anyways I tried only to find out that the actual pita bread was falling apart as if someone punched it. Now I understand why they didn't put the sauce as it would have all leaked out. Anyways I hade to put everything in a plate. Chop up whatever that wasn't already falling to pieces and poured the sauce. I made my own bowl. Been a while since I've been in here the two employees working today didn't seem to have things in order, the pita was definitely smaller then I remember, oh wait they actually gave me the wrong one with only two of us customers in the store, I called the store they said they would replace it but when they only give you 100 grams of meat per pita I've come to realize that this isn't the greatest place to spend my money. I feel like having to use more fuel to drive back to fix my order and my time has left me with a unhappy feeling that my 14$ meal now costed me over 20$ including my time. When you look at the board it says 2-3$ for extra cheese or bacon. That's what the whole lb costs for a tablespoon or 2 thin cut strips. , Extra meat being 100 grams is 4$ meaning they are profiting huge paying for that new cottage or another house....
