Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Pointe-Claire

I normally have pizza delivered, and I never had problems with it. And the food is always excellent. But today, I thought I would give pickup a try. In short, it was a terrible experience. I walked in when the app told me that the pizza was ready. No one is manning the counter. After standing there for 10mins someone comes and askes me my name and walks back. After some 5 minutes, I ask someone else what's happening. They ask me to pay and after I pay, tell me that the pizza is not ready and I have to wait. I wait another 10 minutes before I get my pizza and leave, in total 25 minutes after I walk in and the app tells me that the pizza is ready for pickup. Typically use to order at least once a week from this location. Past two times, delivery took over an hour the first time. Second time took an hour and a half. I called after 30 mins of not seeing the online tracker was progressing. Was told by staff my order was in the oven, and there is a technical glitch with their online tracker... I was going to cancel my order if it was not made.... waited another 30 mins, still no delivery, and tracker finally progressed. When tracker moved back to back in oven from being verified, I figured they screwed up my order... I went to the store, my order had left for delivery 5 mins before I got there.... 4 stars is for deep pan pizza only , ordered via the app , so as to make the price competitive... rest of the pizzas from this chain are generic and unappealing in my opinion... but the deep pan is quite tasty, toppings at this location are usually generous and evenly distributed, even when they have the 50% discount ... a medium deep dish pan pizza , enough for two, can often be had for about $10 when ordering online... ( delivery charge is a bit steep , and once you add tip it becomes a bit pricey, so best to pick it up if you can ) i have had one or two pies undercooked or overcooked but that is the exception...
