If it were possible to give a negative review I would.
I just had the most awful, disrespectful and rude experience with one of the waitresses at this location. My friend and I ordered 2 appetizers (tater tots, and one pretzel), as my meal I ordered the Classic burger, and requested a gluten free bun as I am gluten intolerant. Gluten intolerant means that I can only handle certain and very limited amounts of gluten or I get violently ill.
Upon receiving my bill I had questioned the waitress why I was not charged for the gluten free bun and she went silent. I then proceeded to ask if the bun was in fact gluten free and to my surprise she replied with a snarky "well it was whatever you ordered". I then began to describe the bun to her and she insisted that both buns looked similar and had a yellowish tint to them. I explained very calmly to her that its a good thing this isn't an allergy that could kill me but that I would experience stomach pain as it in as intolerance. She insisted that I should've noticed that it wasn't a gluten free bun prior to eating it and wouldn't even bring out examples to show me the difference.
Despite this issue, I still tipped her 10%, which I would've gladly given her more had she gotten the order correct.
After leaving, my friend insisted that we should not of been treated like that and decided to go back in to explain that this is not how you treat paying customers and for future to be more careful. However, this is when things got worse, instead of taking responsibility and apologizing, this waitress got very defensive. She insisted that it was my fault and I should've known it wasn't gluten free. She decided to throw even more shade at us by claiming that it didn't make sense that I wanted a gluten free bun if I had ordered a pretzel which contains gluten. Not that it is any of the staffs business, how much gluten I can eat but when this argument was used my friend continued to explain that I can tolerate certain amounts of gluten which is why we shared the pretzel. The waitress continued to argue that it was rude of me to tip so low, however the tip should've 0$ since she messed up on something that will affect my health. On top of these comments and arguments that this waitress was making, another male employee decided to chime into the conversation asking if I had hypoglycaemia and if that's the reason I couldn't eat gluten while laughing and making fun of me.
Customer service is clearly non-existent here and this situation could've been handled many other professional ways. This is not the way that paying customers should be treated. We have eaten here before and enjoyed it. We had no bad intentions, all we wanted was for the staff to be more careful in the future however, we will never be going back here and we do not advice anyone with allergies or restrictions to go here either because they are extremely...
Read moreNotre-Boeuf-de-Grace in Pointe-Claire is not a bad burger place to be in. The restaurant feels like a medium sized place. Well lit and clean as well.
I will start off with the Burger. I had the Eden burger which was a vegetarian burger with Tater tots and an Oreo milkshake. The burger was amazing and cooked well for my liking. Tater tots were crispy and not that salty. Their oreo milkshake was sweet and delicious.
The waitress we had was nice and polite although they need fill up our water glasses. Some of the waitresses were just sitting and not doing much when we dined in.
Their washrooms are cleaned and gender neutral which as a nice touch and the first time I saw a washroom designed differently.
A great burger place to eat in and I will visit from time to time. A highly recommendation.

Second Review. Feb. 2022
The place was amazing. The sound system was too loud for me and I could not hear anyone really talking to me. They should lower the music to save hearing. I may not go back after that because of the volume of music.
Overall, the burger was delicious. I ordered the Holy Swiss with tater tots and it was delicious and great. A little heavy on the mayo but it was great and finish the whole plate. Their tater tots were crunchy and good as well.
Calamari was salty and small and very oily so watch out for that and I may not order that again.
All in all just the music was bot good for me but the food and service was amazing although they should have one person cleaning the tables and not serving and getting the food. It was weird.
Pricey and not a lot of options to choose...
Read moreHorrible Customer service! It is rare for my husband and I to go out for lunch since we both work, so we were looking forward to our date. The restaurant wasn't too busy when we walked in, but being Spring break, they should have anticipated that it might get busier. We noticed there was only one waitress on the floor. We didn't order anything fancy off the menu, created simple burgers but other customers who arrived after us received their food before us. When our plates arrived, mine was the wrong one, waitress gave my burger to someone else, she apologized, constantly saying it was her fault and left my side of onion rings. About fifteen (15) minutes later, my husband ate and finished his burger and I receive my burger that was drenched in mayonnaise and you could not even see the meat. I cut it in half and the meat inside was completely raw. I was so upset, we told the waitress I cannot eat this and to bring us our bill. She kept on saying that it was her fault that she gave my order to someone else. No one from management (if anyone was there) even came to our table I understand that errors can occur, but being courteous with your customers should be a priority. They charged us the five dollars ($5.00) of onion rings side, when being in the restaurant business myself, they should have waived this. I do not care for the $5.00, it's the principle. Maybe they were trying to save on payroll, but their service lacked. My husband said that his burger was ok, he's had better. I would not recommend this restaurant as they need to work on their customer service skills. My first and last time at...
