In my household, weekends are a sacred ritual of indulging in takeout cuisine, and a beloved haunt is Gigi Pizzeria nestled in Pointe-Claire village. Every corner of Quebec seems to have its cherished pizza haven, a place where the locals hold fervent convictions that it reigns supreme in terms of being the most delectable, the oiliest, the cheesiest, or the heartiest, among other attributes. Gigi Pizzeria transcends mere nourishment; it encapsulates the essence of comfort food, a testament to their genuine care, and an emblematic ode to the enduring appeal of the quintessential classic pizza. Each bite unravels a symphony of gooey cheese strands that meld seamlessly with hearty, meat-laden toppings, a stark departure from the flimsy, featherweight boxes that typify other pizzerias. Bringing home a Gigi pizza is akin to bringing home a complete culinary experience, leaving no room for hunger and ensuring a delightful encore with leftovers that retain their delectable allure, even the day after. Such is the magic of this pizzeria that whenever I entertain friends visiting from the United States, a trip to Gigi’s is non-negotiable. They’ve never before experienced submarine sandwiches, pizzas, or poutines quite like those served at Gigi’s. These dishes become a veritable gastronomic embassy, representing the quintessential flavor of Montreal pizza. In the grand hierarchy of Montreal’s pizza offerings, Gigi’s proudly sits at the apex, embodying the pinnacle of pizza excellence in the city. My commitment to this gastronomic haven knows no bounds. I willingly embark on a journey that spans the entire length of the island, traversing from one end to the other, solely for the purpose of acquiring Gigi’s exceptional pizza. Such is the allure of this culinary gem that even the distance cannot deter my family from savoring its exquisite flavors. @mtlrestorap

Walking around Pointe-Claire Village, can make a girl real hungry. Gigi Pizzaria has been on my "Need to Try" list for a few months. It was recommended by a few friends. I haven't gone earlier because parking can be a little tough. We were greeted by a very friendly lady and seated immediately. For a Wednesday lunch it was quite busy. We were lucky there was a booth still available. The menu is not extensive, but there are more that enough selections. Ranging from a small selection of spaghetti lasagna to a large selection of subs and pizzas. We had pizza. A 10" 'Deluxe' to be exact. It was loaded with cheese, mushrooms, green peppers, pepperoni, bacon, and onions. Holy moly. The sauce was light so the flavors of the toppings was able to stand out. Only downside was that it was a bit wet under the crust which was a bit underdone. I didn't say anything because it was ok. I'm just very picky. My friend had a single topping pizza, 1/2 pepperoni and 1/2 capicollo, and nit was dry and perfectly cooked. Sometimes, when there are too many toppings the tendency is to stay a little wet on the bottom. It takes a long time for the mushrooms and peppers to dry out. When I go back? Absolutely.

Every region of Québec has "that pizza place", where locals swear on their mother's graves that it's the best, the greasiest, the cheesiest, the thickest, etc. So when a buddy of mine who lived on the west island most of his childhood said that Gigi was it, I took his word for it, and he was right. Not cheap at around 30 bucks for a medium, but quality was there, and can easily feed 3 people. We took the all dressed with bacon and onions, with extra sauce. I can't think of anything bad to say about it. I know not everyone likes this style of pizza, but I sure as hell do.

Pizzeria Gigi is an alright pizza place.

Since they close at 8:00PM on Mondays and Tuesdays we were really eager to try to place this place out. Since we saw a few people walking out with the pizzas for takeaway.

We ordered the Medium 12 size Gigi's Special which is all-dressed pizza with Steak on top of it. it cost $30 after taxes.

Since we arrived 19 minutes before closing time they said it would take about 15 minutes max but it took almost 20 minutes to make the pizza so wait times are long for a pizza with that caliber but it was worth it.

The Pizza was greasy and the pizza tasted all good. No major issues with it. The pizzas when cut fell off right away with the cheese and ingredients and there was a lot of pepperoni and peppers and the their dough and crust was really good and crunchy.

They only accept cash at this and they have a $2.50 charge rate for an ATM which is ridiculous because nowadays there is Credit and debit cards nowadays which they should implement because its time for a change.

The dining room was small and small so seating may be limited and it is located on the village which is nice.

They do deliver as well which is a nice touch as well but cash only.

Management needs to improve and just be clean overall and prices area quite high but reasonable with a good budget.

I would recommend this Pizzeria to anyone they just need to add Credit/Debit make it look nice with the renovation and just add good and improve customer service and parking spots with access for all and there is no rating like A,B,C,D etc. for the cleanliness inspection and they should hours at what time they open because there was none on the door. And add the menus outside the door .They should do...

I went there couple of times and the pizza were tasty. Today, I visited there and ordered extras large. She told me it would take 15 minutes and asked me to ring the back door bell. So after 15 minutes I went back and rang the bell. Nobody responded for 4 minutes. I ranged bell again, nobody came out and I asked them anybody inside...the girl came out after 2 minutes and said she was on the phone and didn't hear the first ringing. And more, she said she told me she had told me 15 - 20 minutes for done which is lie. Anyway, finally I got Pizza after waiting for 25 more minutes than scheduled in a hot day time of which temperature was over 33 degree. The funny thing is that she said the bell is not working sometimes... and more I was only one who was waiting for the Pizza. At least, if they had a order and time passed, they need to check if any customer is waiting for or need something? As a business man, I think that's the way of taking care of customers. They don't even have no bench nor waiting place in the back. It seems they don't care since Covid-19 made them rich or poor, I don't know. For me, I don't care to wait 40 minutes if I need to but I don't like somebody who lie or don't...
