McDonald's — Restaurant in Ponoka

In all honesty I have tried this new location by Cross Iron Mills numerous times since they opened before Christmas 2018. It's close to my clients' offices and allows quick in and out fast food which generally tastes fairly consistent but that's it for positive attributes.

Even with minimal volume at this location they are plagued by significant and consistent delays in orders, they regularly do not provide receipts without having to request them, and today they had an equipment breakdown on the smoothie machine and blamed it on the cold weather (-11C today). Not such a big deal except I waited close to 5 min before they offered it to me at the pickup window without ice.

The "manager" has more than once casually shrugged off my voiced concerns or placed the blame back to the staff and equipment. I thought the McDonald's organization was a bit more methodical in its training program but maybe not so much.

This review may seem harsh but I've already spoken to the same manager a couple times, asked for receipts every visit after not receiving them and I've also filled out their customer satisfaction survey. As a customer, I've given them lots of opportunity to listen, address and correct or attempt to correct my little concerns. They either don't listen, don't care or are incapable of learning - whichever it is if they can't handle these relatively minor issues I don't trust them to handle food quality control either. this mcdonalds is by far the worst not only mcdonalds, but fast food restaurant i have ever been too. I have been to this particular location for lunch multiple times because i work in ponoka. everytime i order i have to repeat myself like 5 times they always get my order wrong for what i want on my burger than today was the absolute worst! I ordered a quarter pounder meal and I checked to make sure they got my order right when she handed me the bag of food and to my surprise (not really) there was no fries. now normally this wouldn't be that big of deal but when i ask for the fries she charges me $2.60. when it really should have only been like $1.10 if they got my order right in the first place. then they proceed to tell me i did not order a meal nor will they ring it in again so I get charged the whole thing. Unless they do something to fix this I am never going here again. I know were only talking about a bit of change but just their attitude at the store and how they consistently get orders wrong is really a pain in the rear end. I am definitely going somewhere else from now on. I'd advise everyone to stay away from this place. if you just want a hassle free lunch go to the wendys or dq...

Worst experience in take out history. I walk din an ordered take out for my family of 4. They kept serving customers after me I was about to say something and then my order disappeared from the board. I asked about my order and the girl said "that wasn't me" then she and another lady started to pack my order which they had to restart because they didn't have any of it for me. And the girl said "we r just waiting for your fries." No apology nothing was said to me. Then they gave me all my food and didn't fill one drink. A children's apple juice. They continued to serve new customers as I'm standing there waiting for my apple juice. This was 15 minutes of waiting for my food. I also ordered an extra toy that they didn't charge me for, the employee said "I didn't even hear you say that" Then I said well at this point it should be free, and the employee said "this is only my second day here" And I'm still waiting for my apple juice and both employees walked away from me. I had to ask again for my apple juice.
